Richmond Tire

I went to Richmond Tire because my whole family have gone to them for tire repair. I went there today (8/26/22) because I was alerted that my tire pressure was off. Luckily I had a portable tire air pressure to fill my tire up. I left work early to Richmond Tire to see why my air pressure was so low (26 psi) and not 40 psi. When I got there the owner was nice enough to remove the passenger front tire and low and behold I had a nail in the tire. Keep in mind I just got all new tires ($450 each) in March 2022 so I was stressed praying it could be repaired. The owner was honest and told me because the nail was so close to the edge of the tire before he works on it he asked if I had a warranty on my tires since they were basically new. He suggested I should call the shop I got my tires installed in to make sure because once he works on the tire the warranty will be voided. Yes I could've gone back to the shop i got my tires but that was in Suisin! When I called the shop they said due to "normal driving conditions" it's not covered by warranty but the shop recommended Richmond Tire patch the tire from the inside. Well Richmond Tire was able to patch the tire from the inside but was honest and told me it's not a guarantee it will last. That's totally fine! I'm just grateful Richmond Tire was able to help me and have integrity by letting me know it might be an issue in the future due to the placement of the nail. Richmond Tire you are a lifesaver and only charged me $20 for the patch when I had low profile tires and 20" rims! Thank you!

Tesla said it was time to rotate my Model Y's tires and that the rear passenger tire was well below the recommended PSI.

I called Richmond Tire (thank you to previous reviewers who rated it well) to estimate cost and see about availability. They provided a cost estimate of $30 for a rotation and $20 for a tire patch, assuming I paid cash. They also welcomed me to drive up at my convenience. I couldn't determine if they took appointments.

They, indeed, could get rotations done in about 15 minutes and a patch completed within 30 minutes of beginning the service. They, indeed, found a threaded bolt in the suspected tire and got it patched.

There's a small covered but outdoor waiting area as well as an outdoor bench for customers to wait. Given it's a (2024) Fourth of July heatwave, I tried to hide from the sun as much as possible. So thankful I brought a hat!

Yes, $50 for the total appointment, paid in cash.
5 minutes waiting time to be seen and out within a half hour.
Would recommend to others.

(Tesla's quoted service would be a weeklong wait for an appointment at their service center and estimated $271.)

Pretty straight forward fast place to get your tires changed and or repaired. I came in for a repair and was content at the service they provided. Although quick it made my day because of how at ease I felt leaving after that issue. Definitely recommend........

This shop is the ultimate Tire Doctor drive thru! Get in and get out quickly! FOR REAL. Park your car, tell them your need, and then one of the team guys will start working on your car. You will be out of there stress free in less than 15 minutes! They're that quick! It seems like the problem is fixed in a blink of an eye.

Whenever I am in need of a used tire due to a flat or a tire needing a patch, I know that when I call or go here that I will be taken care of. Talk to KALANI! He's the one to ask qs and provide solutions.

This place is hands down the best tire shop in Richmond! They are fast, friendly and you can tell it's a family felt team. This is my go-to place for any tire care needs. You pull up, and they start working immediately. I'm in and out in about 15-20 minutes. Many places reject Teslas and Richmond Tire welcome them and got pucks ready.

Amazing service! Before I arrived I thought I would have to get a new tire, because of a lodged nail. Kalani, patched up my tire in less than ten minutes and I was out the door for an honest price! I will definitely return here in the future.

I have been coming here for years now and they are the best in what they do! Whether to replace a tire or fix one, their prices can't be beat and their outstanding customer service is like no other that I have come by!
