Roza Roadside Assistance

They arrived within 30 min to East Oakland. However, what I was quoted -- $50 for site visit plus $35-75 for labor -- left me surprised when i was charged $135 for simply jumpstarting my car with a travel battery, maybe 2 min of work. Was told Roza is "just a middleman."

I need my battery jumped started. I initially called at 10:45 and they said it would take a 35 minutes. I then called at 11:35 and they 20-30 minutes. Then I called 12:26 and they 5-10 minutes. Finally, I called at 1:15 and they put me on hold then hung up on me. I called right back trying to cancelling in which they put me on hold again. Yes, that's a total of 2.5 hours waiting. Save yourself some time and call someone else. All these good reviews are a sham.

I never leave a bad review but I have now been waiting for 2 hours and still a no show with the truck. The only reason I have kept waiting this long is because they told me there would be a cancellation fee to my card if I cancelled. I'm just going to dispute it with my card company and cancel because the runaround with them and completely not showing up when I'm sitting a mile away from their shop is ridiculous.

My car wouldn't start and my partner, my dog, and I were stuck in Uptown. Lately the car would struggle with the starter, but after 1-2 turns it usually turned on. I called Roza Roadside to get a tow/jump start sent and the guy asked some questions, pretty much diagnosing what might be the issue.

Turns out, nothing truly was wrong but my battery was running low and the factory alarm went off, shutting off my starter. A reboot of the alarm (arm it, then unarm the car) fixed the issue! No one had to be sent out, I saved hours, and possibly hundreds of dollars. These guys are stellar!! If something does go wrong, I'm definitely gonna call them, hands down! Thanks!!!

I can't speak highly enough about Phil and his outstanding service. I called to request a jumpstart and he arrived promptly. After he left, I drove my car a bit and suddenly my battery died again. He came back instantly and offered another jump. While chatting after the second jump, my car died again. He not only helped diagnose the larger issue, but expertly towed my car back into my parking space.

Throughout all of this, he kept the situation light with enjoyable, fun conversation. He also taught me a lot about my car and showed me how to perform several tasks on my own. The price was extremely reasonable to boot! I'm so thankful for Roza Roadside. Please give them a call if you ever need any of their services.

My car wouldn't start and I didn't know why. Phil answered the phone and was there super fast! He was so friendly and explained everything he was checking. After giving me a jump start, he offered to go with me to buy a new battery, offered advice on which one to buy, and popped it in right there in the auto parts store parking lot. What a nice guy! The cost was super fair and I was so glad I called him. Highly recommend!

I found Roza Roadside Service on yelp. Called and got a quote for my 2013 BMW 328i which was much cheaper than other tow truck companies. I scheduled a tow and he came out. My tow was a difficult one due to the position of my vehicle AND the fact that my car wouldn't start. I would definitely use this company again if need be. If you call this whole service you will not be disappointed! And to the driver who came out, I'm sorry that I did not get your name but I am very pleased with what you did. You made my day!
