San Bruno Storage is very well run, the storage units are clean, the building access is very easy and reliable, and the hallways are well-lit and continuously monitored. Freight elevator and dolly available if you have large things. Highly recommend.

I recently moved out of my unit but wanted to leave a review for those considering this location. Lisa is great and easy to work with. The facility is clean and secure and I've never had any issues during all my years there. There's a freight elevator if you choose a unit upstairs and clean bathrooms. I highly recommend San Bruno Storage over any other places.

Lisa at SBS is amazing, She is a joy to talk with and it was a blessing to have a safe place to store my Stuff here for over the last year. I'm sad to say I moved out due to moving to a new city. I will miss my talks with Lisa and the comfortability I had with my stuff in storage here in San Bruno. This storage facility is very secure, safe and clean. Payments are an ease with auto pay and I could not say enough how safe I felt leaving my items in storage here. If I every move back to the Bay area I will be coming back here for my Storage needs.

When I first signed on to them, they had only been around for almost a year and barely established. I have been a loyal customer for over 5 years but they no longer value my patronage. They not only raised the monthly rent multiple times (which is expected for inflation) but they also discontinued a discount that I had on my unit since they knew I would be a long-term renter. When I tried to negotiate a compromise, all I received back was pretty much a "Don't like it? Then get out." I hate businesses that don't keep their word. When you initially rented with San Bruno Storage we had a
promotion available to all customers willing to sign up for a year. The promotion ended for every other customer after one year without issue. You however insisted we continue due to an apparent misunderstanding that the promotion was never ending. I continued the promotion for four (4) more years.
In addition, I gave you 60 days notice of the discontinuation.
I do not see how this could be construed as "if you don't like it, get out" or "not keeping my word" and am disappointed you felt that way.
On your next visit, I would love to speak with you in an effort to make this a more satisfying experience for you.

San Bruno StorageApr 29, 2009Previous reviewPROS: Cinder brick building. Great security. Each unit has their own light and are on ground level. They have a flat bed truck and a driver if you need it. Family-owned. Really friendly.
CONS: The street to the unit is small & makes backing a moving truck up to the facility a tad difficult (but not bad at all).
I love how this is a family run business. The building was originally used to store the cabinets they created, but they moved it to a new location, so they converted this building into a storage unit and opened it in August 2008. The building is made of cinder brick and since they previously used the facility to store their custom made cabinets, you know that your stuff will be in a cool environment.
Regarding security: The facility has two large doors which are opened by a keypad. When you use the keypad, it also disarms your specific unit. They also have cameras in the hallways for added protection.
To top it all off, they are willing to work with you. Lisa knows each of her renters and their situations. If you have a concern, they will try to accommodate you.
Of all the places that I have rented units from, this facility is so far the best experience I've had!

Lisa is great, auto bill to credit card, and a reasonable price around $100. clean facility felt safe and secure. Thanks!

I had used San Bruno Storage to store my belongs for about two years. During that time I've never had a problem with the unit or the service I received. I worked with Lisa there and she was always very responsive to any inquiries, etc. I had. I did set off the alarm late one night (I'm sure the neighbors weren't too happy about that) and I was able to reach her right away to have the alarm turned off. I never felt unsafe at the unit (and as told, I had a habit of moving/accessing the storage unit in the evenings).
The street is a bit on the narrow end and I don't believe there's an elevator if you are storing stuff on the second floor (or I just never thought to look for it because I didn't have any huge items and I'm supremely buff).
I never took advantage of the moving truck they had to offer there so I can't much comment on that, but it's nice to have the option.

Signed up a few months ago and "yay! I'm a fan!" Signing up was simple and straight forward and Lisa has been great to work with. The facility is organized and very clean.
A few call out's - (a.) The location is in a industrial part of South SF but is not difficult to find;
(b.) Montgomery Street is narrow and a pretty frequented street used by other commercial businesses. This at times, can make for some adventurous driving and parking on Montgomery Street, but SB Storage provides some parking stalls (c.)
