We had an issue with the infotainment system in our 2021 TSX that another Acura dealership (RWC) wasn't able to resolved after taking the car to them about 2-3 times. FINALLY, after 2 years of this on going problem SF Acura was able to fix the issue in 1 day. We've also brought the car here for an oil change.

Eh it's alright. A busy dealership because they're in the city. My 23 MDX driver side window broke because of no fault to me and after about 8 hrs of waiting there, they told me the receptor cable is broken and that they will replace it under warranty. The part should arrive by tomorrow and be fixed by tomorrow.
Sure no problem. I ask about loaner cars and he told me they're out and doesn't offer me any other alternative. So I end up taking the bus home.
Luckily I live in the city and it's easy for me to get home. But if I needed a car for work tomorrow or any extended period of time, I would've needed an alternative. Acura wasn't super helpful in that regardHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 9160141Jan 17, 2024
Brought my Acura in for oil change and brake fluid flush. While I know that dealers tend to charge more than independent garages, the rate they quoted me was within ~10% of an independent garage. It was easy to get an appointment -- easy drop off and pick up. I had a good experience and will be bringing my Acura back for service.

The Acura service center in San Francisco is really reaching for the top and they have achieved it.
Super clean environment, modern set up and super friendly and welcoming to all customers.
Waiting time is minimum and you will be connected to an advisor fairly quick.
Dropping the car is easy and convenient.
What impresses me the most, is a fair assessment of priorities that keep your car in great shape without pushing for unnecessary services or early replacement of the parts that is unnecessary.
Even if you are not a car person, all questions will be answered with detail.
This location is highly recommended.
Our advisor Eric Tom, scheduled few necessary services in two different dates to so we can take care of the car with best promotions offered.
We are very grateful for all the time he took to do all the scheduling.
He was very accommodating, we had a busy day and he arranged for us to pick up the car the next day even it took only few hours to have it ready on the same day.
World class service with a smile and positive attitude.

Overall I had exceptional experience at this dealership! Everyone here was very friendly, accommodating, and have a great energy around them. In particular, I had a very pleasant experience with James as he was very easy to work with, very trustworthy and honest. You can definitely tell he genuinely cares about providing a great customer experience and making the process as smooth and easy as possible!
For more context, I was calling around for a new Acura TLX Type-S and I called multiple dealerships. Amongst the many dealerships I called around the Bay Area, James from San Francisco Acura came off as the easiest to work with and most trustworthy! opposed to the other dealerships I had called. The salesmen from the other dealerships came off as overly pushy and super aggressive which deferred me away from them. Because of this, I prioritized visiting San Francisco Acura the same day, right after I got off work.
Upon arriving, James showed us around the car and thoroughly went through the many features of the car and he was very accommodating and helpful throughout the process. I made the decision to purchase the Acura TLX Type-S and James had helped me get a good deal along with providing me many great recommendations on particular warranties since this car has more performance parts which would be very wise to purchase. In addition, everyone here was very friendly and made the process as smooth as possible (shoutouts to Ken from Finance!). I would definitely recommend coming here if you are looking to purchase a vehicle! I would personally come back again if I were to purchase another vehicle!

Had the chance to buy a new car from the team at San Francisco Acura. We all know that buying a car is a stressful process. But I had the pleasure of working with James and Johnny. Trying to decide between the different colors and options was a little crazy. But these guys knew their stuff and helped to make the whole experience not so stressful. After all the education we were given my wife and I were set on a color, interior and trim level. Sad to say this location did not have the exact one in stock and there was no giving in to other options, that was the car we wanted. But we had luck on our side and James and Johnny were able to find one at a different location and took the time to go to that dealership and get the car. It was not a close location. So VERY happy and grateful for the amazing experience and would recommend James and Johnny to anyone.

I went back to San Francisco Acura for another oil change in December 2022. It will be my last visit to this dealership.
First, this oil change was $50 more than the previous one. I questioned this and was told that I didn't get the tire rotation last time. $50 to rotate the tires that I bought at Costco and could get for free?!
During the "inspection" this dealership found almost $3k worth of work they claimed my car needed. They said it needed brakes, a strut was leaking, etc. They insisted that I pay for the strut before they would schedule the work. I have never had to pre-pay for parts. Don't dealers have accounts with Honda/Acura? I don't understand. I made an appointment with my regular mechanic. He is extremely busy and is hard to get in unless you have an emergency. This is why I sometimes get my oil changes at a dealer.
My mechanic looks at my car a week after this SF Acura visit and laughs when I said that I had a strut leaking. He did his safety inspection. I did need some work...$700 worth and that included reattaching my front license plate. No problem with the brakes. He said I may need brakes in another year or so. I only have 60k miles on an almost 10 year old Acura RDX. It's probably the best car I've ever owned.
Let's end on a high note...I got wiper blade inserts for my car. They are the same price I've been paying for years. Next year I'll find somewhere else to buy them.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

May 21, 2022Previous reviewIt's nice to have an Acura dealership in the city, especially since Serramonte Acura closed. I made an appointment online for an oil change and fluid check for my RDX. I arrived and was greeted warmly by Eric (there are two of them, both very nice). He told me that it should take about 2 hours to complete the work. In 1 hour and 45 minutes I was on my way.

Overall Exceptional Service. Every single person was making sure you were being assisted and taken care of. Came in to inquire the MDX, left with a brand new RDX.
Salesman Jonathan R. was spectacular. He took us as a walk-in and definitely delivered. Attention to details, straightforward and without a doubt very easy to talk to. He'll get you just right, leaving you with a reason to want to bring everyone else you know back to him to get them into a new whip. Laid out plans, gave references to what vehicles suited different types of people / families. Even let us test drive (that's when we found the car). He made sure in any way possible that what we thought we wanted(mdx) vs what we needed(rdx) was the right choice. And sure enough, he made it happen. Can't forget his associate Ken. Both were very, very transparent and straight to the point. Got us through the whole process in the blink of an eye.
If you're looking for an Acura or Honda, definitely this is the place to go! Jonathan and Ken makes things happen!
