I have used Sara Cares three times now for both upholstery and persian rug cleaning. They are amazing! Their prices are fair, the service is friendly, their communication is prompt, and they do a fantastic job. All the things that make great customer service. They are my go to for any rug and upholstery cleaning, and I would recommend them for clean-up of older wool rugs, sofas, or persian rugs.

Highly recommend! After a prolonged period of being unable to tend to them, my carpets were in terrible shape. Aaron arrived and completely took care of everything in a professional, polite manner and was so helpful! I am amazed how clean he got these old and inexpensive carpets. He also did an excellent job on my furniture. On the telephone, Dana was professional and very helpful.

Would recommend them for sure. In these Covid days it felt weird that the service guy wasn't masked. We know better now that the virus is airborne and especially when coming into strangers' homes one would have thought masks reduce risks. I didn't mind that he didn't wear booties over shoes.

Hello Cyril,
As per our phone call today regarding your experience and review of us I wrote the following.
Sorry about the exception to the rule yesterday.
I would like to start by saying that safety is our highest priority during these times, and we apologize sincerely that the PPE we provide was not utilized. We will assure this does not happen again, and hope it will not keep you away from us in future.
We are following THE PROVINCIAL HEALTH rules and work safe BC rules and doing are best to assure our staff are all being accountable.
Each technicians van has a box of 50 masks, 1 box of gloves, 1 hand pump of sanitizer, 1 jug 4 liters of Decon 30 disinfectant & 50 booties. We have also done our best to ensure they are educated and up to date on the health and safety guidelines provided by the government. Part of that education is ensuring they understand the importance of 6ft rule, wearing a mask, and disinfecting all cleaning equipment and any surfaces that they may have touched.
The technician has been made aware of this complaint, and is apologetic. He understands the importance of wearing masks and wants to ensure all of our customers feel safe when we are in their homes .
Again, we apologize for not making you feel safe while in your home and we would be glad to make it up to you next time given the opportunity.

We had two area rugs that needed cleaning (two kids and a dog in our home)- Dana was prompt with pick up and was extremely flexible on our return date. We were going through renovations and was able to hold onto our two rugs until dust had settled so they wouldn't get dirty during that time. While we waited, our dog had an accident on the rug under our king size bed, Dana brought his equipment and did a spot clean for us without us having to remove the carpet, just moved the bed to one side and did his magic! (Worked 1000x better than the crappy spot cleaner vacuumed I had purchased 3 weeks prior).
Definitely somebody we will be calling again to do our area rugs when needed!

Col C.Ottawa, Canada10106686Nov 15, 2013I inherited from my grandmother a very dirty and somewhat damaged (frills and the sides were chewed by mice) Persian rug. She bought in the Middle East many decades ago and very valuable. I decided to go with SaraCares because Dana provided an estimate on the spot, and talked me through what I services I can expect.
Rug was very clean when I got it back. About $170 for the cleaning. I also got them to refringe the damaged frills (around $150). What came as a pleasant surprise was that they also fixed the edges of the no-frill sides (the longer sides of the rug) as well.
Dana was very accommodating - dropped off the clean and repaired rug at 8am before we had to go to work. Overall very satisfied with the service.
Note: This wasn't a rush job so I didn't give them a deadline -- it took a month from pick-up to drop-off. Some days I wondered what they were doing with my rug but I didn't mind. Can't comment on how the service would be if it were a rush job.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0

We had been out loping at the cost to replace the carpet in our house, the bedrooms and the hall area. We thought the carpet was too far gone to be restored. After seeing the price to replace the carpet, we thought we would try cleaning it first before the big investment. We had Sara cares, New Westminster come and clean and now two years later we still have the same carpet and it looks great. Dan cleaned everything to like new condition. he also referred us to a carpet layer that stretched the carpet bringing it to like new condition. Sara cares are very professional and knowledgable, I have used their services three times and will do so again.
