Serge A Lot

Love love love! Took in my old serger for repair, but it was too far gone. Y were able to get me set up with a brand new serger, which I love and am using right now. Fun selection of cotton fabrics, sewing machines and an amazing selection of thread. Recommend!

I sew as a hobby & downtime from a stressful job. I'm sewing a T-shirt quilt and was having issues with tension & my bobbin. I went to the sewing machine store in Millbrae where I bought my machine & where I've had it serviced. The store owner confirmed I needed a new bobbin & offered a new bobbin for $69 plus $135 service - that I did not need or want.

I called a sewing store in San Mateo who referred me to Serge A Lot & I am forever grateful he did. I spoke to Sherry and she was happy to sell me a bobbin. I went into the store next day and was created by the nicest person ever (I apologize I forget her name but she is one of Sherry's daughters).
Thank You for opening this shop. I found my new favorite sewing shop! This is the best find, best customer service & I am a HUGE fan.

I have a 20+ year old BERNINA that's been serviced only once or twice. A few months ago I took it to Serge A Lot in the cityand owner, Brad, gave it a VERY thorough service. The owners are so knowledgeable about "all things sewing" that it was a pleasure to pick their brain a little. I'm quite amazed at the difference in my machine's performance! For $100 service fee I feel like I got a whole new BERNINA. I live in Belmont and I'm excited that Serge A Lot just opened a second location on Ralston Avenue. I understand they'll be offering classes soon - can't wait!
