$18 all-day parking for early birds before 9am if you leave by 7pm! $20 all-day otherwise. The entrance is on Natoma, see below for clues.

One of the best rates you'll find since the downtown parking shortage began in 2010 with the demolition of the Transbay Terminal for construction of the Transbay Transit Center. I guess life will be better when they finally complete construction in 2017... Until then it's a daily struggle for parking with "Lot Full" signs everywhere you look.

Here's how to find 500 Howard Street for cheap parking...as of October 2011. Usually you'd enter Natoma heading north on 2nd Street. Usually, but no more! Now, heading south on 1st street after Mission, make a right into the alley-like street, Natoma. Helmeted construction workers/flaggers will direct you. Turn left into the first building for bargain parking.

If you want to try to enjoy the construction, I think the only bet is the construction cam. Everything else about it sucks!

      Beware, beware, beware!
      Don't park here.

Thief! Who ever works Tuesday at 10am 12/17/19 is a thief. I parked and paid to have my car parked. When I came back someone had gone thru my glovebox and taken cash.

I saw this listing on Parkology and decided to check it out today when I had to drive in for work. I knew it was going to be tricky to find with all of the Transbay construction, but everything worked out great. Just stay in the right lane on 1st once you cross Mission, and the construction flagged will wave you right into the alley (Natoma).
