Came by the other day and it was a quick and easy SFTMA parking garage. The garage was clean and bright.

The entire process was fully automated including an automated license plate reader to validate license plates going in and out of the garage. Parking spaces felt more spacious than the North Beach garage across the street.

There are stairs and elevators to go up and down. In addition, the police station is right in front of the parking garage for safety!

Whether you're trying to visit North Beach or Chinatown, this is the most secure parking garage after reading about some of the other adjacent establishments. It's literally above the police station. The elevators do not permeate of any putrid stench reminiscent of urine, and the paying stations are easily accessed on Level 1.

The garage is shared with Zipcar reservations. So you will have to drive a few levels up to find a space- all of which are of proper size. There are cameras located at the entrances, and what a beautiful sight of SFPD SUV's parked all around! Pay before exiting. On a Sunday evening, it was $4/hour. However, I would not put a price on the safety of your car.

You can be rest assured, your car windows will be intact, but still remain cautious by removing valuables from view. When exiting and re-entering the building continue to stay alert. Be safe out there in Gotham City!

Secure parking, easy to pay, but spaces are small. But location is near china town and in the future, we will use it again.

I remember when I first started driving, I parked here all the time, esp on Sundays.
As I come to Chinatown for grocery shopping.
I hated wasted my gas driving around in circles to find a spot and give up and park here.
It use to be $2.75 and then $3 and now it's $4.

This lot is more spacious than the other one across the street.
Wider driving lanes and easy turning.
But be careful when you park on the middle side, the wall blocks your view when backing out, so hear for the tire screeches.
They do have a mirror on the middle column poll on the street side but it's useless.

To pay for parking, it's on the first floor, 2 kiosk pay station and 2 parking spot (5 min limit).
I have seen assholes who take up both spots like ... what are you doing ..????
Even if you don't pay before leaving, you can still pay when you get to the front exit ticket station.

There's no lot personnel like they use to, so if you're in need of assistant, they're across the street.

I'm glad they remodeled their elevators, because both of them sucked ass, doors always stuck, doesn't stop at every floor.
I was once stuck in the elevator for a good 20 mins before fire fighters came and claw open the door for me.

I have had bad experiences here but also good ones.
      I still prefer this one.

After reading about the epidemic levels of San Francisco car break ins I wanted to park in the safest area available. From the street this place looks like a police parking garage because it shares the building with a police station. There are cameras on the entrances and cop cars all down the road and up the alley. As I waited in front of the building for an Uber a police car pulling into the alley had to wait as two cops casually crossed the street. Add to that the latest info I could find (2017) showed this garage had zero car break ins that year. Left my car there for 12 hours ($30) with no problems.

The spaces were easy to get in and out of (you aren't allowed to back in) and the fellow manning the pay station was friendly and helpful. It's about 8 minutes by car to get to Fishermans Wharf and a twenty minute walk back which allowed us to check out Chinatown. I believe there's also an old school trolly that travels between this area and the wharf but don't quote me on that. Plenty of spots available on a Sunday morning. I'd definitely park here if I return to San Francisco.

View of street directly in front of the garage. 4 more cop cars behind the camera. Felt safe leaving my car here as a tourist.

This is where I park when I come to San Francisco. It's pretty close to Chinatown and North beach. Prices are reasonable. The price is $3 a hour and $3 each additional hour maxing out at $27. I usually only stay here for 3 hours at the most so it's totally worth it. Parking is a little tight but most parking garage in the City got real small parking space. This place opens at 10am and close at 10pm Sunday to Thursday and closes at 2 AM Friday and Saturday. One of the reason I like this location cause it's easy to catch a lyft or under from here to where ever and make my way back here later or just walk from here to where ever. I will be back here next time I'm in the city.

This rating is more so reflective on the fact I followed a picture on yelp from 3 years ago.

Safe parking lot, costly if you're not doing early bird...

      I'm a sad panda.

      Here the current prices 5/16/18

Here's an option for parking when you're attending a show at Club Fugazi where Beach Blanket Babylon plays.

It is right by the Central Police Station and cost us $9 on a Saturday night.

According to a posted sign, the garage closes at 10pm Sunday - Thursday, and 2am Friday and Saturday. They have a $50 charge if you want to get your car out after hours.

      Visa & Mastercard accepted.

No, I'm not rating this parking garage based on the garage itself but rather the photo opportunity. Seriously! Go up to the 5th floor and look out the eastern-facing slit in the wall and you'll get a breathtaking view of the Bay Bridge, the Chinese businesses below, and the sublime skyline.

Mean staffs, Darrell is one the staff there. His performance is horrible. This parking garage is tiny and old. Elevator is not working. Stairs are smelly.
Darrell is providing horrible attitude. Glad that they are located at a golden spot. Otherwise, they will shut down for sure.
