About the Business
Join us for a theatrical adventure in indoor miniature golf, an escape room, a drink on our terrace or some arcade games! Its a great time for all ages! Having a party? We host them here! Birthday parties, corporate team building events, bar mitzvhah, bat mitzvah, retirement party, holiday party or anything in between! When it comes to competitive activities, the stakes are never higher than in a game of miniature golf. But at Shipwrecked's 18-hole indoor course, golfers don't just have the natural thrill of tabulating scores to keep things exciting--they also play through a full theatrical experience, making for a brand of mini golf that's wholly unique. Before the first hole even begins, the course immerses guests with special effects as the pirate captain sends them off on their adventure: a search for hidden treasure along holes with themes such as a submarine, a jungle, and booby-trapped caves. Besides the mini golf, the ADA-accessible facility also has custom-built 80's arcade games as well as snacks, drinks and ice cream at the counter. ** Please note - the last game for the night starts an hour before the closing time posted on our website ** Check the calendar on our website for full operating days and hours

Q:
Hows the parking situation around there?
A:
We are in a mostly industrial area with the Red Hook parks across the street. So with no residents and business closed after five and on weekends, most days you don’t have to search too hard to find parking. If there’s a summer holiday or a soccer… more

Is there a good way to walk to this place with the kids in tow from the F train? I was doing a google street view, and it looks like the area around the 9th St subway stop is ok, but once you past the highway, it looks sketchy
A:
Hi there! Great question. My suggestion is to take 9th Street over to Court Street. And walk to our facility using Court Street. The only thing that you'll have to walk past that's less than optimal is the Court Street trash transfer station on the… more

This place is pretty awesome. It's in Red Hook so it's in an industrial area right across the street from Red Hook Park. Not easy to get too with subway or bus. Parking didn't seem to hard to find, and it's street parking.
You have to take the elevator up to the 3rd floor to check in. The arcade and mini golf and snack bar are on third floor.
We bought the tickets for the escape room and mini golf before got there and you have to reserve a time. There were 3 types of escape rooms, a temple, haunted and space station one. We went to the temple one and each room has a 15 min time limit. We were able to get out in less than the 15 min. It wasn't easy but it wasn't too hard either.
The miniature golf was pretty fun too. They announce your name over the speakers and you check in with the folks at the snack bar for your clubs and balls. You also get a bag to tokens. They are for certain holes as there's a theme and story as you play which was cool. You can keep score or just play for fun.
The snack bar has basic food like pizza, I think chicken nuggets and a few other hot items. They also have candy and ice cream as well. You can also get slushies with alcohol if you chose as well as a decent beer selection.
The arcade was small but decent and the prizes were decent too. You buy a game card and your credits and reward points are loaded onto the card.
Great way to spend a few hours with the little ones or a group of adults which makes this place even better.Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 0 - Matt D.Brooklyn, NY01221Aug 4, 2024
Absolute joke of an establishment. The kids in charge have no idea what they are doing. There is no recognition of reservation times whatsoever and they will push you behind wall in groups that don't have reservations. We were not given a chance to play until 30 minutes after our reservation time as we watched 3 other groups that walked in after us get to play. I would never recommend this place ever.

What a great spot. Came for a mini golf birthday party. It was a big group and we had a private room for a pizza party, and we all mini golfed. Super fun.
The staff is fantastic. They're really upbeat and you can tell they enjoy working there.
They have booze for sale, as well as soft drinks and finger foods like mozz sticks, nuggets, etc.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Nov 15, 2023

Paper goods etc i brought my own to decorate. They let her play her favorite music (K-pop) lol indoor mini golf they get to keep the glow in the dark gold balls. They so 4 rooms. You get two pictures to keep after. And a bunch of stuff for the bday girl. I got beers for the adults and pizza. Everyone was so nice place was clean . Highly recommend . -Also the party was a glow party lights off party time . So much fun

Staff is rude and not very helpful. Called in advance to ask if reservations were required for mini golf was told 'no'. When we arrived, we were told that we needed a reservation and that the waitlist was full. Looking around the place, there were only 3 other people in the entire place - not 3 parties, 3 people.
Also witnessed the staff giving another customer a hard time about her existing reservation, but she was on-time, so I'm not really sure how they can complain about her not arriving even earlier.
Poor customer service all around. I guess they don't need the business. I know I won't be going back.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

I didn't know what to expect when my fiancé suggested mini golf here after a sandwich stop at Defonte's - but i was so pleasantly surprised! The mini golf course is 18 holes, high quality, and action packed - there's also a huge alcohol selection if you're into that, but we opted for the apple cider slushees which were amazing.
After minigolf we stopped into the arcade, but decided on a mini escape room, and played some games while we waited for our slot. We tried the hardest (and couldn't get it) but had so much fun we immediately went and booked another, which was a Indiana Jones type temple (and won!). Super fun and we will be back for the haunted one.
We finished our day by clearing out our credits in the arcade and left with some prizes.
This place is a blast, and a little hidden gem in Red Hook.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Shantell S.Canarsie, Brooklyn, NY23582337Jan 25, 2024
Soo I went to Shipwrecked for a Date Night to do something different in the wintertime there are 18 holes, and each one is different with slight difficulties, but nothing that a Master armature putter can't conquer lol .. I went around Christmas time so it was heavily themed for Christmas season. I must say i had a really good time, i love to do Un conventual dates and this was a nice change of pace from dinner and movie dates. when you enter the building, you have to take the elevator to the second floor on the left side you have a nice fully decked OUT arcade room with tons of prizes to choose from when you get enough tickets .. on the rt side is where the mini golf course is . like i said they have 18 holes of fun to experience .. they even had a Ugly sweater step and repeat .. overall i had a good time ill say it takes about an 1hr to 2hr to finish the course .. when you exit the course or before you start the course, they have a lil eating area where you can get snacks , beer and wine to sip on while you golf .. the even have lil drink holder at each hole

Ambience: It was a winter wonderland theme and it was so cute! They had like one big room divided into sections and we were told to there were x amount of courses to get through and there was a super cute surprise at the end with faux snowflakes as a photo prop.
Price: It was $50 for 2 people I believe. I thought this was a little expensive, but we're here for a good time.
Service: The cashiers were welcoming and offered us choices for the golf clubs.Helpful 6Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jessamine C.San Francisco, CA0819Mar 22, 2023

They also have a small arcade room and scape room. Maybe I'll try these nextHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Tony C.Brooklyn, NY313Jan 15, 2024
Always fun! My kids like going to the mini golf, but the LOVE the arcade. The games are all the popular ones we know - basketball, skeeball, air hockey, and all the video games too!
