Sir Ron's Driving Service

Ron was unavailable to be our personal driver, but he helped us so much out of the goodness of his heart! He gave us an itinerary of wineries to visit and what he liked about each one. He also referred us to other drivers to make sure we were in good hands. Super helpful even when he wasn't getting paid. Thank you Ron!

Ron is AMAZING, and I am so thrilled that we found him on Yelp. My friends and I recently planned a wine country girls trip, and thanks to Sir Ron transportation was a breeze. From the moment we contacted him to plan the trip - he was super helpful. Not only did he offer some insight on our winery selections - but he is just generally extremely entertaining.

We were a large group - 12 to be exact - so we rented a 15 passenger van and off we went from San Fransisco to uncork the weekend.

Ron, who prefers to be called Sir Ron, met us on Saturday for our full Napa tour. He drove our van on Saturday for our Napa tour, and on Sunday for our exploration of Sonoma. He is super professional, waits for the group as you do your tasting, and offers advice for off-script places you may have time to explore.

Would absolutely hire Sir Ron again and can't recommend him enough!

Sometimes you take a leap of faith and it turns out to be an amazing experience. I found Sir Ron (or Swami Ron by the end of the trip) through a Yelp search and decided to hire him to take my family that was visiting from India and HK around the bay area.

Ron was very communicative as we planned the trips and constantly suggested how to improve the itinerary and recommendations. He was very prompt and courteous throughout the process.

He was prompt in picking up my family from our cousins house and treated them like his extended family. My family had a great time with him and he was very personable and took great care of them to make sure they had a great experience. We could not have hoped for anything better.

I would highly recommend Sir Ron to anyone looking for a tour guide and chauffer service in the Bay Area.

My son and I spent the day with Ron in Napa. We had a great time. We met in Mill Valley and then he returned us to my sons place in SF in my sons car and uber'd back to his car. He is quite the personality, but gives you all the space you need. He will also supply the car if you need it. Quite affordable, especially compared to everything and everybody in Napa. Hope to see him again soon.

Ron is a fantastic driver and one of a kind! My wife and I were looking for a private driver to take us from our hotel in Oakland to the Russian River Valley and back. The tours all seem very preprogrammed and we were looking for more exposure to family wineries, but we also wanted to do some beer tasting which didn't seem to be available in any of the prepackaged company deals. Ron's rates were very very affordable and fair, he arrived promptly ahead of schedule and his conversation and perspective on our route were great!

Simply the best! All 12 of us loved Sir Ron driving us from SF to Napa and back again for my 30th. He is super affordable, flexible and hilarious. He made sure everything ran smoothly and went above and beyond to help us. Definitely recommend and would book him again. Thanks Sir Ron!

Ron is absolutely incredible! My sisters, mom and I had a driver scheduled from a service who cancelled last minute. After reading raving reviews about Ron, I called him in hopes that he would be able to drive us. He was unfortunately booked but he spent the entire day calling around to find another driver for us. He had no reason to help out but went out of his day to do so. Truly the most kind and helpful man! He will be my first call next time!

Ron is the driver to hire!!! I wanted to go from San Francisco to Yosemite to join my boyfriend and a group of friends already en route. I dislike freeway driving. As a woman riding solo, I wanted to mind my personal safety; I was not keen on using an app-based ride service as I often do in the city (...not for that long of a distance by myself to a remote place without strong cell phone service). Ron was easy to work with over the phone pre-travel, helpful, super punctual. He quoted me a price that was beyond fair. I enjoyed conversing with Ron across the approximately 4-hour road trip, as he is game to talk about life beyond surface-level chit-chat (if you choose to go there). He made me laugh and shared pearls of wisdom I will likely remember for a long time. His driving put me at ease (no speeding whatsoever). When he delivered me to my destination in Groveland safe and sound, my boyfriend invited Ron to join us all for dinner before he drove back to SF. He was a jovial dinner guest. To sum up: I am SO grateful that I found Ron on Yelp and was able to ride to Yosemite with peace of mind. - Thank you, thank you, Ron!!!

Ron is an absolute angel! He took care of myself and four other friends. His rates are amazing for the service you receive and for a full day in Napa. You are able to sit back, listen to your music and converse with him about the area. He helped me plan my day by recommending wineries in Napa and we had an excellent trip. Ron is great at communicating and he was always ahead of time!
