Summer Fridge

Our 4 year old Whirlpool refrigerator started making a weird clicking noise late last night and then started leaking a lot of water. I found Summer Fridge on Yelp with all the great reviews, and called this morning as soon as they opened. Omar was able to fit me into his schedule. He arrived on time, was very nice and extremely knowledgable. The problem turned out to be a faulty switch. He had the replacement part on his truck and completed the repair within 30 minutes. Omar was great to work with, and I definitely will recommend Summer Fridge to anyone needing refrigerator repair.

There is a diagnostic fee when they come to your house.

But Yelpers - it is worth it. Because if there is a problem, they will find it and fix it unless the appliance is not fixable. But if they tell you it is not, you can be assured that they are speaking the truth.

My experience with some other companies is that this may not necessarily be the case.

This is a "GO TO" company for your refrigerator repair needs. And frankly, after working with this business, you will be hard put to work with another.

Fixed my refrigerator! Was not cooling, Omar assessed the issue, figured out right away what the problem probably was. He also advised me if the problem came back what my possible options. He promptly answered the phone when I called the business gave me an appointment window for the same day and confirmed an exact time later and was on time

Omar came on time and reset our ice maker. Very professional and we would call him again for any future refrigerator issues.

I have to give summer fridge 5 stars. I had issues with my ice maker and I believe it was Omar that came out to fix my problem he was done replacing the ice maker as I got home he explained everything made it easy thank you Omar.

I had an issue with my fridge last week, I called a couple of the fridge repairers for a quote and described the problem that I had with my fridge, Omar from Summer Fridge immediately knew what caused the problem and he quoted me the price over the phone. The other repairer needed to charge a basic charge of $99 bucks to come to my house to assess the problem, so I chose Omar to repair my fridge,  he scheduled an appointment for 2 days later. He arrived on time and took about an hour and a half to replace the parts and resolve the problem. Omar was reliable, and efficient and provided a professional repair for my fridge. I highly recommend Summer Fridge to anyone.

Our GE refrigerator was leaking water. Omar came out quickly, turned off the water to the fridge, ordered the part and came back two days later to install. He was very quick, efficient and nice to work with. He texted me when he was on his way and was always on time. I would highly recommend Summer Fridge!

Ice maker in fridge stopped working. Reached out and Omar got back to me within an hour and set up a time that day to assess. Part was ordered and was ready to fix the next day. He was very punctual and professional and got the job done well and quickly. Definitely will use Summer Fridge again.

My freezer was not staying cold enough to freeze. (2004 Amana which has been a great fridge). Had it cranked to highest setting which provided some coolness for a day. I scanned the yelp reviews for repair places in my area. Several 4.5+ reviews but I called Omar as he had straight 5-stars. He was able to get me in the next afternoon. He was running early on account of lighter traffic than expected so was 30min early. He was efficient, professional, and politely answered my questions (i tend to ask questions to learn & understand the work) and in the end gave me a discount to his original quote to replace my compressor switch. He did test the compressor to make sure it was good, which I appreciate he was identifying the right thing to fix. He mentioned keeping the coil clean as well (front panel, below freezer drawer). So he checked it and vacuumed it out. So adding to my things to check regularly list. Net, 5 star is well deserved.

I am so impressed with Summer Fridge. Omar is the best! Prompt, courteous, and fairly priced. He is a certified repairperson with the big brands, so it made getting warranty replacement parts a snap. This is the #1 place to call if you need your refrigerator serviced!
