Techpro Builders is a "top shelf", professional company and they were a pleasure to do business with. Owner Armen Grigorian is very knowledgeable and really knows his way around the modern technology of today's HVAC systems and was easy to work with. His crew was in and out in a day. The crew seemed like a well-oiled machine, working in harmony, each with their individual responsibilities and all of them demonstrating pride in their workmanship. I am recently retired and "hung" with them during the installation process of our new HVAC system. They were flexible with my small requests and weren't disturbed with my overseeing the process. I would highly recommend Techpro Builders to anyone interested in installing new HVAC or replacing an aging less efficient system.

Armen and his crew of long-time employees are the epitome of professionalism. After securing several quotes, we hired TechPro in large part because of Armen's can-do attitude toward solving problems with HVAC piping, fitting, routing, and design, which stood in sharp contrast to other HVAC contractors that arrived on site and complained about or made derogatory comments about older systems and the challenges that it would present to them. After providing a timely quote, Armen was quite generous with his time in answering questions about his design and in spelling out the eligible rebates very precisely. So we signed and hired TechPro. After they arrived on site, they were even better than our initial impression, which is saying quite a lot. Their employees are very courteous, respectful, and careful with on site instructions and the property owner's time and availability. All new problems that arose (and they will arise in any large project) were addressed very quickly and thoroughly by Armen, who was always ready to provide cost-conscious and effective options. They finished the project ahead of schedule and were still highly communicative after the fact for on-site inspections and rebates. The experience could not have gone any better. I would highly recommend TechPro to anybody looking to complete a large HVAC project at their home.

These guys are top-notch. Furnace had a flaky problem... They were professional scheduling the appointment, arrived within the estimated window. Serviceperson (Park) was like a doctor w/great bedside manner.... explained the problems, potential issues, repair options, etc. (including recommendations on a future furnace replacement). Fixed everything, had the right tools + parts in the truck. Really great organization and (a) would use them again, and (b) would absolutely recommend them.

The Techpro team provided outstanding service from start to finish. We replaced our gas furnace with a 2-zone heat pump system. They performed a very in-depth walkthrough of our house during the on-site visit for the initial estimate to examine what kind of setup would be best.

The setup for the initial quote seemed quite advanced coming from a basic ducted furnace, but probably would have provided the most comfort. We weren't too familiar with all the different components in such a setup, so we had additional discussions to try to better understand everything. Armen then offered to come do another on-site and actually proposed a different and simpler setup which still met our requirements. Armen was very patient with us during our discussions and answered all our questions and made sure we were satisfied and comfortable with the proposal before we signed. We didn't feel pressured at all.

It was relatively quick to schedule the install date. The entire job took 5 days. All the technicians who came were very professional and respectful. They did a great job with the installation. When it came to the last day, which was a Friday, they were actually behind schedule, and called on reinforcements to come help. As they came close to the evening, they still weren't finished and thought about finishing the following Monday. However, they didn't want us to be without heat over the weekend, and they actually stayed late to make sure the system was up and running. Major props to the team for this sort of customer service.

The next week, the technician, Park, came back to do a follow-up inspection to make sure everything was still fine and made sure I had no outstanding questions. He did a few touch-ups like making the mounted condenser more secured and covering screws with some anti-rust compound. I really appreciated the thoroughness.

When it came to the city inspection, the inspector noted a few minor things. These actually didn't affect the performance of the system, but they were necessary due to newer city building codes. The Techpro team quickly scheduled a follow-up visit to perform all the necessary work to pass inspection. It took less than a day for them to do the work.

Even the office staff was great. They were very responsive throughout the whole engagement.

I have nothing but great things to say about Techpro!

I had hired techpro to add a separate thermostat and heating system for 1st floor as the temperature varies about 5-7 degrees throughout the seasons.

Armen gave a very competitive quote - they were not the cheapest. Armen was also very thoughtful in the design recommendations, where to place the vent , etc. Because of their reviews and I really liked Armen's approach , I went with techpro.

They did a great job getting the separation done. Before they left, I simply asked them about my non- functional electric air filter system - it was broken since I brought it and I had multiple ppl trying to fix it. The team took it on and did 3 round trips maybe 16 hours of work including ordering parts for me using warranty. It turns out that it was on the whole time! We just didn't see the light go on. Armen did not charge me any extra - just the standard diagnose fee..

Very thankful to meet Armen and team. He will have a customer for life!

Looked around a bit and my next door neighbor recommended TechPro. They are quick to respond and did a great job reviewing and inspection the old furnace. Gave some options to repair or replace. Did a quick repair to get heat going again. I decide to replace with a heat exchanger. Reviewed detailed of project. A little mix up on scheduling due to rain delays of previous job. But they adjusted to my needs and got the job done within the time estimate quoted. Passed City inspections and left everything nice and tidy. Their office filed for all the rebates and got both approved. Stop looking and give these guys a call.

Park is why I am happy with my choice and would use Techpro again.
My setup isn't easy, HVAC is in a crawl space, the diagnose and repair of the problem required Park to got in and out between the HAVC and the thermostat at several times. within an hour he found the short circuit and fixed it, as well as gave me an overview of the system and potential issues we may address in the future, I trust his knowledge and explanations.

Why not 5 start? one issue to know, not a deal breaker but I feel deserve deduction of one star: Lack of transparency in pricing. I was told the following:
"The appointment will be charged at our diagnostic rate of $75/hr. Our technician will perform the repair if possible within the same visit, but if an additional part, refrigerant, time, or visit is required then he will provide a repair quote."

That is it. wouldn't you assume that if they fix it within that hour, you will pay $75 (+ cost of parts)? ended up being told the cost of the repair is $299 (1 hour). I am not even complaining on the rate, I just feel it was either
1/ Bad communication (not great)
2/ Intentional bait and switch

I like to assume good intentions so I will go with #1. hence -1 start and not 1 star :-)

My husband and I realized that our 40 year old gas furnace needed to be replaced. We had several companies come out to give us estimates. We chose Techpro Builders after a friend recommended them and we are very glad we did. Armen came out for the estimate and it was very obvious he was extremely knowledgeable. The workers were on time, courteous, and conscientious. Whenever we had questions, Danielle, the office manager, returned our calls promptly. The quality of the work exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend them.

We have been using TechPro Builders for a few years now for our HVAC needs. Our Technician, Park, was very thorough in troubleshooting our furnace. He replaced necessary parts and reattached the (flow pipe) so that the heat traveled easily without having to move around angled pipe turns. I'm VERY pleased with his service. My downstairs vents finally get warm air, which makes the cold winters bearable and saves me money on my utility bill vs needing to use a space heater. I highly recommend Park if you choose TechPro Builders.

Danielle at Technpro was very helpful in getting an appointment set up for my HVAC repair. The tech who came, Armen, was professional and did a great job to get my system back online. I would recommend them!

Park the technician was absolutely amazing. He was very thorough with his inspection with my devices, and the price was very fair as well.
