Geoff R.San Francisco, CA07Jul 3, 2021our electric cooktop control module failed about five years after installation...the thermador repair guy came out first and quickly figured out that it needed a new control unit. the second time he brought a control unit, which was not the correct one for our cooktop...we pointed out the problem, which was that the part was simply for another version of the cooktop. he had noticed that the wiring didnt match on installation. he finally came back with a correct unit, and it finally works again.
service was relatively slow, with about three months from the first check to final repair. and, its not cheap!! the repair guy was friendly and professional.
Its hard to get thermador appliances fixed well by independents.. so, using the manufacturer does offer some advantages.

The technician also followed up with a call just to make sure my refrigerator was functioning correctly. I thought that was very nice professional great customer service. Do not use this company!! I called them for a simple replacement of a bumper around my refrigerator door. The technician came out, then disappeared. I called to follow up the next day, was promised a call back, no call. Three weeks later, I called store, promised a call back, no call. I am so disappointed as I have a full kitchen of Thermador appliances and was looking for a repair person. Unfortunately I will have to continue my search.

Our tenants washing machine stopping spinning. Dom diagnosed the problem, showed me the broken part and explained the fix he would make. This is second time we used Dom. He is one of the few who will work on brands that are not part of the mainstream.
