This Korean-fusion breakfast joint offers uniquely delicious food. There are decadent options like pancakes, healthy choices like a decked out salad, or choices in between like the souped up avocado toast that contained at least 2 avocados. For hearty/meat eaters there were lots of people with plates piled high with eggs and meat with homemade hash brown blocks. Seating is limited, I barely got a 1-person spot at the bar at 9:45am on a random Thursday, so this is a place you want to plan to enjoy. The food was well-priced for the quality of the ingredients and the sheer deliciousness of the breakfast.

A quaint place located in Steveson, with a Korean-inspired brunch menu! The interior was decorated well, and had great vibes.
We ordered a couple of dishes from the menu, and standouts are definitely the chicken and waffles and the fisherman's feast. I'd skip out on the benedict, though. I loved the Korean touches on the fried chicken, with the spicy sauce as an awesome substitute for maple syrup. I initially thought the rosemary sprig was just for decoration, but the fried chicken also had a nice hint of rosemary. We got the fisherman's feast with bulgogi, and I'd say that the bulgogi was slightly different from a traditional bulgogi, but it was excellent regardless.
Definitely a noteworthy spot to check out for brunch!Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Eunice C.North Vancouver, Canada906133Jun 23, 2024
This restaurant is a little gem in steveston and they have Korean style brunch items on their menu. When the weather is nice, there's usually a line as the restaurant is fairly small, but it's totally worth the wait. The food came by fast, and it was fresh and delicious. The service wasn't the best, but I think overall there's no complains. I wouldn't recommend a big party, and parking isn't the best in the area, especially when it's super busy.
There's a cute little Photo Booth on the corner of the store, so don't forget to check it out if you're there!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 1225111Jun 17, 2024
They are consistent. I came here in the first week of their opening and just revisited again last week.
They didn't have the best service the first time I visited, but seems like they've figured things out now and all the servers were lovely. The hashblocks were just as crispy as I remembered, and portion sizes are filling!
For the fisherman's feast, you could choose eggs made any way, had a choice of five grain/white/sourdough bread, and could choose smoked salmon/Korean bulgogi/dry aged bacon.
Friends ordered the Walk around the block, Korean Benny, and chicken and waffles. Everything looked delicious. I absolutely love their dishware and plating! Drinks are made Korean cafe style in beautiful thin rimmed glasses.
They added a "photobooth" which was new from when they first opened. You can take a free photo and it prints on receipt paper to hang on the wall or take home! They have tape and markers for you to decorate it too.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aug 10, 2024
We waited over 1 hour to be seated. To be told they called our name 10 minutes ago. We were sitting in the waiting area and did not hear our names called at all but ok...we were finally seated and it was so difficult to get a glass of water. The chicken waffles were delicious tho that I went back again another time with my daughter. It was packed and we were served a little quicker this time but still so hard to get water! Towards the end the waiter had the audacity to seat a family of four on both our sides with me and my daughter in the middle. That is completely unacceptable and downright rude!!! I don't know what this person was thinking and no matter how busy it was that should not have happened. Two strikes and there won't be a third. Terrible service. I feel the 18% tip I gave was not deserved whatsoever.

Just added this to my go to places for breakfast in the Lower Mainland.
Stopped by around 11 am on a weekday in a group of three and seated immediately. Plenty of free street parking in the area which is always a bonus. This is a Korean inspired brunch establishment with plenty of menu options to meet everyone's wants. I managed to sample three breakfasts during this visit. The Korean Fried Chicken and Waffles was amazing....the chicken was spicy and not greasy...perfect. And loved the Korean Benny...the bulgogi was amazing once one cut into the eggs. And hash blocks...how can one go wrong with this. Service was spot on as was the coffee.
It was a very positive food experience and happy to recommend Toast to Coast Brunch Bar when in Steveston.Helpful 5Thanks 1Love this 4Oh no 0 - Mar 10, 2024
Stopped by for a quick breakfast. It's smaller, but very clean and the staff were friendly and had quick service. The chicken was perfectly crunchy and herbaceous. You could really taste the rosemary, it was really good! It came with a delicious syrup that wasn't too sweet and had a little kick. It was fab!! Waffles were good too but the chicken was the star. Would def stop again.

Very aesthetic brunch spot in Steveston! We waited about 15mins at 11:30am. The Fisherman's Feast comes with sourdough toast, eggs your way, salad, hashblocks and your choice of smoked salmon, bulgogi or bacon. The hashblocks were super crispy and well seasoned! Didn't even need ketchup!
The Korean Chicken and Waffles were also surprisingly good. The chicken was SO CRUNCHY!!! It wasn't dry and the honey and maple syrup with gochujang sauce was a nice change. It wasn't very spicy either. The waffles were crispy but fluffy on the inside.
There's also a cute photo booth station at the front where you can print out pictures in black and white. Prices are bit higher than other places in Steveston.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jun 17, 2023
Toast to Coast Brunch Bar, is located in the very popular Steveston Village area of Richmond.
This is a great area to check out shops, pubs & restaurants.
And if you're not bothered by either of those - it's most absolutely a nice place for a walk about & or to chill out at.
Korean fusion brunch I find to be usually very well presented but on the smaller side portion wise.
I'm comparing it to Americana type explosive brunches like Oeb, Jam Cafe or the Cheesecake Factory.
So don't come here expecting to blow your stomach up with galore.
However, you will get a great tasting brunch that will fill you up ... for an hour.
Our table had 'the hits' here via the KFCW or Chicken & Waffle, the Korean Eggs Benny & Pancakes.
TTC is a very small restaurant & does not take reservations.
It has a limited menu as well. Service is prompt & exceptional.
So arrive early & register via Yelp at the front.
TTC is a definite positive welcome to this area.
I can see TTC needing to expand to another location in the future.Helpful 17Thanks 1Love this 21Oh no 0 - Jul 7, 2023
After hearing all the rave about this new Asian fusion brunch spot in Steveston, Richmond, I decided to give it a try, and boy was I disappointed.
I've only ever heard good things about how delicious the food was here and how to die for the hash browns were, but during my visit, everything was sub par. The hash browns weren't the typical golden brown color they normally are at brunch places, which to me symbolizes the chef leaving them in the fryer for too long. Not only that, but the hash browns were super dry, and hard to eat, just because of how fried they were. The eggs benny was pretty average. The eggs were nicely poached, but the English muffin it was served on was tough and dry. The hollandaise sauce was bland and lacking in flavor, but the meat was pretty decent and tender.
The chicken and waffles were a disappointment too. The waffle was dry and the chicken was bland and dry. The meat was tough and the skin had no flavor at all, almost like they didn't season it. The pickled veggies on the side were soggy too. Even my friends said this place terribly downgraded.
Although the food wasn't as we expected, the service was quite nice once we sat down, and I liked the option of patio seating or indoor seating. At first, the whole dining in process was confusing here as when we entered, no one came to help us, so we thought we had to pay at the counter and save a table. But soon after we sat down, a waitress guided us in the right direction. To be frank, I don't think I'd ever go back after this experience. There are just better brunch places with better food, service, and ambiance.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ed K.Coquitlam, Canada02821Mar 20, 2024
I came here with very high expectations. When the food came out, it looked very tasty. Unfortunately, when I cut into the eggs, they were not soft boiled like I requested. The eggs and the hollandaise sauce were also cold. The overall flavours were good but eating a cold eggs Benedict was disappointing. The service was excellent and the ambience was very cute. Another negative was when I went to leave a tip, and pushed the "other" button, I couldn't leave a tip based on a percentage, only a total amount.
Maybe it was just an off day for the kitchen. I would like to come back and try the brunch again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
