Sushi Tonton consistently impresses! Quick service and higher sashimi grade comparamong local sushi spots. Excellent service and beautifully plated sushi.

Highly recommend the red dragon roll, tako wasabi and spicy tuna roll - definite highlights. 5/5 stars without a doubt!

We had a birthday picnic and I ordered a party tray. First time ordering from here.

Staff was pleasant during pickup.

Sushi was fresh and yummy. We look forward to dining in soon. A very aesthetically pleasing environment.

Their menu is also expansive so can't wait to try the other dishes.

Today, the service was exceptionally shiat..
Had to ask, not twice, but 3Xs (reminders AFTER the food arrived) First from the gal busser, twice, and then the manager; yes the *manager, who 'managed' to close out the simple 'asks'

For one request, my guest asked for fork n knife and extra kapkins.

2 requests later...

*HE drops both of them on my plate, and scoots off.
Pretty certain it was the manager (lower case).

Another decent, middle-of-the-road sushi joint in Vancouver, with plenty of veggie options.

We decided to grab a takeout order for lunch one day. Between the two of us, we got an order of goma-ae ($5.50), 3 pcs of Inari Nigiri ($2.25/pc), 2 veggie rolls ($5.50 each), 2 avocado rolls ($5.95 each), and 1 Kanpyo roll ($2.95). The order was ready for pick-up in about 15 minutes.

The goma-ae was very rich and tasty, but too sweet -- like the chef's hand slipped when adding sugar. Still good, but that sweetness needs to be toned down. The rolls were all fine too, but nothing stood out. The veggie roll was largely comprised of radish, shredded carrot, and red beets; there are more exciting veggie rolls in town.

All in all, decent, but nothing to make it stand out from the litany of sushi places in town.

Maybe I'm spoiled, but I have high expectations of sushi restaurants in Vancouver, but based on this one visit, this place doesn't meet that expectation.
First of all, they didn't have few of menu items we wanted. When we asked the wait staff about few food items, they didn't seem to have answers.

That kind of set the tone for the rest of the dinner. The rolls we ordered were okay, nothing spectacular. Their sake menu lacked choices, leaving us craving for something more.
The restaurant was busy, so maybe it was just us, but my dinner party of 9 left this restaurant wishing we had gone somewhere else.

Excellent fresh sushi. We enjoyed the variety of rolls they offer. The service is great too.

Good fresh food and friendly staff. Ordering takeout online for pickup is easy and a nice option available to let them know your need, or not for cutlery.

Cannot get enough of this place. Amazing with online orders for delivery as well.

Some of our favorites are the salmon oshi (DELICIOUS), the bento boxes and the sashimi salad.

For the price you get a great amount of food and the quality is good!

We came to Tonton Sushi for a family dinner. There were five of us in our group, and entering the restaurant our group was greeted quickly and were told that it would be a 5-10 minute wait. After waiting 20 minutes, we were seated at our table.

We had ordered a variety of rolls, some nigiri, a couple of noodle dishes, salmon oshi and salmon sashimi. My favourite roll of the night was their Alaska Roll. The roll had a nice contrast between the creaminess of avocado and crunch cucumbers worked well. The addition of the salad dressing in the roll makes it just a little tangy and sweet.

I would probably not order their noodles again. While the flavours were good. I felt like the noodles were a bit slimy.

Casual sushi spot in a good location. I received a gift certificate so I came here with my family to try it out. The service was good and the servers were really nice and polite. We thought the sushi was standard quality but much better than some of the other casual sushi spots in Richmond. Hope you can open a location in Richmond. Thanks for a enjoyable lunch dining experience!
