Do they have table dine in service? I only see pictures of to go bowls...

      A:

Yes, they have tables and even a bar that you can eat at! It's just the packaging and ordering process will be the same as the to-go orders.

SO GOOD! Easily one of the top poke places in the bay area, and that's coming from a poke bowl frequenter. Such incredibly fresh fish, great portions, wide variety of toppings, and very Gluten Free friendly (they show which sauces and toppings are GF), and best of all every worker I've talked to there has been so so friendly. I even had someone offer my dog some leftover salmon scraps! This is now one of my staples and a place I will be going back to over and over again.

Btw, they have a premium tasting menu on Friday nights for $95--I can't wait to give that a try!

Very good quality and lots of variety for the sides. We liked it so much that my husband and I came here twice in 1 week.

This might be our go to when we want something healthy hehe!

I went to Tuna Kahuna today after I was offered a buy one get one free bowl from their Facebook page and I have to say this is a must try and I will definitely be returning.
From entering the restaurant, the workers were very kind in greeting my girlfriend and I as well as explaining the ordering process for create your own bowls
The restaurant itself isn't the largest but they have an outdoor seating area for a nice day out. The outdoor seating also has overhead covering to protect from weather conditions.
Now for the fish . I got a regular bowl with salmon as my main protein along with mixed greens, all of the mix ins, 5 of the vegetable "gimme the goods" with fried onions on top. Everything is very fresh and feels clean eating but you definitely have to try the original sauce, ponzu, and sriracha Mayo!
This is definitely a local gem in Burlingame!

Poke with tons of toppings. I got my bowl with Kale, Brown Rice, Blue Crab, Salmon, Green Onions, Sesame Seeds, Spicy Seoul, Edamame, Beets, Jalapeños, Pickled Radish, Seaweed Salad, Shredded Nori, Sesame Seeds, Furikake, and it was delicious. Blue crab is not really available elsewhere, so I was excited to try it, Ambiance is upper scale Poke with Wine Bar. And service was friendly and informative.

I am so happy I found this place after the airport! I was starving and craving poke, and was immediately greeted with a smile. It was my first time here, and the gentleman at the counter was so nice and made multiple amazing sounding recommendations, I eventually went with the yuzu 1/2 hamachi 1/2 salmon. It is also located in such a fun area with so much do to around here

      Tuna Kahuna

After years of searching in San Francisco with no avail, I've found my found my spot! I love poke, but it's been hard to find a super solid poke place in the bay. I came all the way over to Burlingame from a friend's recommendation for this place.

It's a bit on the pricier side, with a large bowl at 22.95, but totally worth it. I even got the blue crab add on for an extra 2. It was such a good poke bowl. The portions were great, I was super full after it. The snow crab was worth it, super good compliment to the house tuna and salmon that I chose. Their ponzu sauce brought everything together for a delightful meal. I'm sad that this place is o far from me, but maybe that's a good thing -- otherwise I'd be here all the time.

      Found a spot!

VERY fresh poke and fair portions overall, nice staff, and convenient location to downtown Burlingame. It seems like folks who frequent Basecamp also frequent this place. In addition, if you took a Basecamp class you get a "Neighborhood Discount" which is awesome!

I got a Regular sized bowl which consists of 2 proteins (shrimp and salmon) and then the rest was build your own. I love how they had the option for pickled ginger and beets (my favorites!) Overall though, the total for 2 bowls came out to just over $50...which is kind of crazy LOL. I know poke can be on the more expensive side at times so I understand, and overall I enjoyed my meal which is why they get a solid 4 stars! Always a great, fresh, healthier option for post-workout.

Came to Tuna Kahuna to try their poke bowl and I was pretty darn impressed! The bowl ingredients were super fresh and I really liked that I also got to try many things that you just don't find at most places like walnuts, beets, and a cured egg? Yum!

Both the house tuna and the salmon were tender and buttery - really nice quality! The two protein option was a hair under $19, the cured egg added another $2 and tax and tip carried it over to just under $27 so it's definitely a bit of a splurge, for lunch. If I really wanted, I probably could have stopped halfway but I also didn't want to carry around a bowl for the rest of the afternoon.

Tuna Kahuna definitely impressed upon me enough that I am interested in some of their elevated dinner options now. Keeping y'all bookmarked!

The only thing keeping Tuna Kahuna from a perfect rating this time was how "pushy" the guy behind the counter was. He learned it was my first time and kept pushing me towards ordering the spicy tuna bowl but I'm not sure why. I read the ingredients and it didn't all resonate with me so I told him I'd build my own instead but he pushed again multiple times "are you sure?", "it's really good!" before agreeing to take my build your own order. It's not that I doubt you....but also, respect that I didn't want to try it?

BYO: Salmon and House Tuna over arugula and brown rice, added a cured egg and all my fixins with a splash of yuzu and sweet soy - yum!

      3.5 stars

I got the large build your own bowl with ponzu and house sauce. The salmon and blue crab were good but the house tuna tasted kind of fishy. I also added ikura and avocado for extra charge. This is touted as an upscale poke place so I had higher expectations on the quality.
