Ultra Shine Hand Car Wash & Auto Detailing

This used to be my go to place for car washes. And due to their popularity it's hard to really spend an hour to get my car cleaned.

I had some time today, I guess it's been way to long since I've gone. They have basically doubled their prices.

In a hurry, I paid my bill and left. Walking out to my car there was still quite a bit of streaks throughout the car.

Taking a closer look at home in my parkade. I see there is still quite a bit of break dust on my wheels, and a couple pieces of bird crap still on my hood. Thinking it might be fresh I thought "just my luck". Looking closer I can see that it was there prior and it still had a piece of the cloth where they tried to wipe it.

Service is friendly. But at that price I'd hope so. I'm sure they do a great job for the premium packages. But on a quick basic wash they clearly just want to push the cars out.

At this price, I'd rather run it through a touchless wash 3 times and vacuum myself. And I'd still save some time and money.

I wouldn't recommend, or just be very thorough upon completion of your car wash. I won't be coming back.

I have been back twice since this post, and I am extremely satisfied with the quality of service. I even brought my friend with me today and she was very excited to see the transformation of her messy-af car into sparkling clean! Well worth the $ !




I have been here a few times and it has been hit or miss. Sometimes my vehicle is perfect, other times it is disappointing and not worth the cost. Today was a disappointing day. My car was relatively clean but I opted for the second option so the console would be cleaned. Unfortunately, the job seemed rushed and I am not satisfied with the smudges and debris left inside and outside of my car (see attached pictures).

There was an unhappy customer when I was leaving, so I am wondering if they are just having one of those days.

I think I'll start to look for a place that is more consistently

I've been going by this car wash for a few years, they used to do a terrific job...NOT anymore.

The last couple of times I've noticed they say my car will be ready faster than the usual 20 min and I noticed my car wasn't as clean but I said to myself "everyone has a few off days".

I went by and dropped off my car for a wash the other day, I got the ultra clean package and left my car. Came back paid $50 and tipped the usual $10, when I got my car back it STANK, like disgusting cheap cleaning spray (sanitary lemon smell), I left my windows down a bit and my sunroof open for a couple of nights after to air it out but the smell persist.

I called today to ask what they used to see if I can counter it or see if they can fix it but I was told by a manager "we do not use scented products but you're welcome to come by for another wash" ok?! Sooo I'm crazy?

This place has bad service and bad attitude.

Meh. Good from far, far from good. Got in the car and had to wipe down the dash, as there were fibres all over it! Not much attention to detail here.

The search for a good car wash continues...

I brought my car here on May 29th, 2017 to get it cleaned up after a road trip on a gravel road... needless to say, my car was dirty! I paid $50.40 after tax. I had upgraded a couple levels from the basic wash because I wanted them to clean all my windows (inside and out), and clean my wheels (inside and out). By looking at their website, this is what I paid for:

I was disappointed that, for the price paid & for the advertised service, the car was not clean, The biggest disappointed was in the wheels... they are noticeably dirty. Seems the dirt is mostly on the one side... they only cleaned half the wheel based on what was visible at the time with how the car was parked.

The second major disappointment was in the cleanliness achieved through washing... the windshield and hood / front bumper were still dirty (mostly with bugs). After I asked him to clean the window better, he did it (and it was super easy for him). But around the front grill, it is still dirty with dust/dirt.

Overall, I was expecting better based on the reviews. While the girl staff were friendly and the free coffee was good, I do not think I will return. Basically, the car was still dirty. Service value is very low -- it was better than the hand wash I had across the street, but for 2.5 times the price, I expected the car to be cleaner.

I would not recommend this place.

I absolutely love this car wash. It is worth the wait to get my vehicle detailed properly. They are super fast and the only reason it takes a bit of time is because everyone gets their car washed here lol.. There were about 5 cars ahead of mine and it took about 30min, clean as a whistle. Just like new when I brought my vehicle home from the dealership brand new.

I have been here a handful of times. They don't do a thorough job. On the last visit we purchased the most expensive package and they left the vehicle with a lot of dirt and markings. We paid over $70. I tried to email with pictures and request it to be redone and no one responded. I end off going to finish the cleaning myself. Will not be back and do not recommend.

Perfect job for little money! Very friendly service!
Located at a parking lot of a Sheraton Wall Centre. You can drop off your car there and go for a coffee or a drink or a walk around the area. There are tons of cafes and businesses and some parks close by.
Coming back for more wash.

Paid close to $100 bill for a service that would be $45.
Requested to clean the dirty carpets and the total cost was another $120 on top of the original bill.

Best $27 spent.

Okay Ultra Shine WTH? my girl calls after a glowing recommendation from me on your wash and detail services and calls to make an interior detail appointment for her 2013 Honda Fit.

$150 on the website.. "$200".... what kind of interior? "you have cloth seats?, oh cloth seats are extra".... it says LEATHER seats are extra on your website...

so. disappointed.
