If you're tired of looking for SF street parking...
Back in the day I'd circle for long stretches of time to find parking when I couldn't afford it. Now that I can, straight to the lots!

Kim’s 5-star review: My preferred garage for most things downtown, the MOMA, Metreon, Warfield, Moscone and many of the restaurants in the area. If you know how to navigate it, there's always parking. Sure beats the street for really not that much money. -
Kim’s 5-star review: This is a little secret parking garage located in the MOMA building off Minna alley. The hours are limited to 7am-9pm but if you're in the area for only a few hours it's great clean, safe, alternative to the rest of the downtown parking. -
Kim’s 5-star review: James K. showed me the way of this garage. Have a credit card and use the monthly parking entrance on Bush Street. This machine will take your credit card to allow you to enter and then use it again to exit and pay. Insanely simple. -
Kim’s 4-star review: As crusty and old as this garage is, it has one of the best views in North Beach. After you've had a night on the town with your S.O., go back to where you parked on the top floor and take in the view of Washington Square, the cathedral, and sometimes the fog lighty rolling in. -
Kim’s 4-star review: A remedy to the frustrating street parking in the area and an alternative to the $3/30 min at the Union Street Plaza Garage. The drawback is that you have to leave your keys with an attendant but my friends and I have had their cars well taken care of. -
Kim’s 4-star review: Pakring has gotten so crazy in the Mission that people are just leaving their cars in the center of the street in the turn lanes. If you're frustrated and don't want to pull the same action, 42 Hoff is a small valet only garage between Mission and Valencia. Sometimes you just don't want to drive around in circles or walk 5 blocks so this is an option for your Mission parking needs. The only drawbaclk is it's valet only so if you don't trust someone with your keys... -
Kim’s 4-star review: I used to have a customer that was in the area and parked here when I was working with them on site. Multiple levels and under $10 for 24 hours. The entrance is off an alley so it might be hard to find the first time you use it. -
Kim’s 4-star review: Great underground lot right under Union Square. Doesn't get much more convenient for the area than that. While everyone is circling and looking for the very little parking there is in the area, this is a haven away from the tourist madness. -
Kim’s 3-star review: Yikes, this is the narrowest and lowest entrance I've seen in a garage in the city. My old Honda Accord barely fit into this place and my friend clear out knocked off his snowboard rack off his Explorer. Good thing no damage was done and now he's got stories to tell. This is where they tell you to park if you're eating at Alfred's but I'd be careful if you anything larger than a mid sized car. -
Kim’s 3-star review: Since parking in North Beach pretty much sucks like it does everywhere else, this is a welcome resort if needed. The spaces and ramps are pretty cramped and sometimes you have to traverse the levels multiple times to find a spot. It's also frustrating that most people don't understand what paying first is. However, it still beats the cramped and unpredictable street parking of the area. -
Kim’s 3-star review: For the lack of parking in the Mission, it's always nice to know there's a garage. Even though there's a 350 space here it gets full fast and last week we got in just in time. However what happens is it becomes a valet controlled operation at that point. If you're not comfortable with giving up your keys you might want to get here early. It still beats what people are doing out on Valencia there; parking in the middle of the street! -
Kim’s 3-star review: I never have seen a movie here but I've used their parking garage many times for shows at the AMH. It's a bit on the expensive side but still if you park all the way at the bottom it's still better than the street. -
Kim’s 3-star review: I tend to park over at the Annex on the Fillmore side since I usually go to the Fillmore for shows. Great place for the weeknights but is pretty tight and craped if you 're there for the weekend. Although there is plenty of parking on Geary this is still better for peace of mind. -
Kim’s 3-star review: Great parking for Civic Center, Davies, Herbst and many of the other venues in the area. However it can be a great pain to get out of if the Civic Center is sold out. Still beats parking on the street however. -
Kim’s 3-star review: Having seen enough shows at the Fillmore that run way late (past caltrain/bart hours), sometimes its easier to drive there. If you're not willing to risk your automotive darling on Geary or neighboring streets, this will set you back about $6 for 2-3 hours. The spaces are cramped and it's hard to navigate around sometimes but it's better than being broken into or wading through the rain to some random spot where you parked before your show. Obviously good for the plentiful food options around also. -
Kim’s 3-star review: If you don't mind paying the high prices ($3 - 30min) and are sick of looking for parking in the Cow Hollow/Marina area, this could be your savior. Open M-Tu 7am-midnight, W-F 7am-2am, Sa 10am-2am, Su 10am-midnight. -
Kim’s 3-star review: I never thought I'd be reviewing a parking lot but I guess this place has been more than just that. I've been for Giant's games way back when this was PacBell park when it first opened, and 've been told Cirque Du Soleil sets up camp somewhere around here too. Now I've seen Cypress Hill, Wu Tang Clan, Hieroglyphics and Rage Against The Machine here. Pretty diverse for a parking lot. Not the greatest venue, but surprisingly large. Someone was saying it was upwards of 45,000 people here. Since it was outside the acoustics sucked a bit and we were far back enough where the sound and picture were starting to rift on a delay. Rage made up for it with a good solid set but as you can imagine, with all those damn people, it was a pain to get out and it transformed into a huge ass trash pile. So much for being a Green show and such. Definitely know I'm glad not to be part of the cleanup crew here. -
Kim’s 2-star review: I have many memories of this garage as a kid going to Chinatown with my parents. A pain to get into, lots of bad drivers and pain to park in. To top it off it has the oh so wonderful smell of urine basically everywhere. It's one star above street parking in the area and that's about it. Avoid if all possible. Park in the lots on Vallejo in North Beach and walk your ass to Chinatown.
