      Valley Oak Appliance is certainly the best... I trust them .
      I bought a dishwasher from them and they installed it. A few months later, I bought a stove from big box store that included free installation... the doofus they sent was either lazy and lying, or truly an imbecile .
      Before allowing this guy to install my stove, I asked him to leave. I promptly called VOA and asked them to please do the job. They came a few days later, but worth the wait in piece of mind.
      Crisis averted!

      Will never use this company again! We had a window of time between 1-5pm and Dominic showed up at 4:50pm. Literally spent 5 mins looking at it and then told us his parts guy already went home for the day and he doesn't know what parts are needed to fix it. So he collected his service fee for coming out and bounced. Seriously!?!

      Around mid July 2024, I called to get service for an unbalanced washing machine. The price was $154.00 to show up and then that would be applied to whatever the repair bill was. When the technician arrived, the first thing he said is I don't know how much I'll be able to do today, I didn't realize this was a stacker, or words to that effect. They never even asked me when I booked the appointment if I had a stacking machines. Anyway, he was able to adjust the feet on one side on the bottom of the machine so that it was less wobbly. And he seemed pretty confident that would fix the problem. It was still unbalanced though, so I called back on or around the next day for the following week. I was told they could come back out and the $154.00 I paid was still applicable to the overall repair bill, and there would be no additional charge to show up. Then the day before the appointment in the late afternoon I got a voicemail that said it would be an additional $174.00 to have a second technician accompany because the machines are stacked. This doesn't seem like good business to me and it just didn't seem fair. I canceled the appointment. So minimal goddamn stars!

      Esther was our sales representative here. We were thankful that they had our item available. It would be available in 11 days. Installed by their own licensed contractor & we paid for that particular installation.

      At least checking in here via Yelp helped me get a 10% discount which was very useful as we had to pay extra for installation & we also purchased a five year warranty on top of all of this! We felt it was necessary after our own particular appliance broke down after eight years of usage. Go figure.

      Get this now as we use these appliances every day of our lives. The things we take for granted! Right? We felt it was important to support the small businesses here in Elk Grove. After all this particular company has been in business for 33 years!

      Desi had been with this company 20 plus years. He just arrived within the time frame scheduled for us to install our brand new microwave/oven & it only took him under 1.5 hours to install. The lady who sold us our appliances said it would take three hours so we were very appreciative it didn't take that long. It wasn't hard for my wife to figure out the panel usage bc she mainly uses both the microwave & oven for cooking. We are thrilled with our new appliances! Yay! Thank you Valley Oak Home Appliance center!

      Your serviceman is a little rude punk.
      Dominic. Not only did he not do anything, to service stove, he stuck me with full service charge.
      I used self restraint to not react to his rude, disrespectful comments.
      Tim misled me with the initial contact regarding the estimate.
      Overall unhappy customer.

      Used this company through Bosch to fix my dishwasher. I called three times and every time they said they would look into and call me back. Eventually I just decided to go with someone else who won't brush me off.

      I had a simple debris blockage of a drain that was causing the door to leak. The technician spent an hour with the door off and came up with a feeble excuse that dishes were blocking a sensor and causing a leak and showed me were a foam barrier was wet at the bottom of the inside of the door. I pointed out that the rest of the foam was dry so it could not have been the cause. He shrugged and called his supervisor who must have suggested checking the blocked drain. That was the problem a 10 minute fix at the most. It cost $220. Never again. This tech is new and inexperienced at MY expense.

      So got my washer/dryer and garage fridge here! Great staff...especially Jean (who definitely knows her appliances!). I probably will come back for a wine fridge next. All-in-all, you can trust these folks to 1) know what products they represent, 2) know that they value good customer service, and 3) provide great value!

      Always a great experience with this family-owned business! We just bought a washer/ dryer from them for our new home, and it's working out great. We also had their repair guy out fixing two appliances that person we bought the house from put in and installed incorrectly. The Valley Oak appliance repair person that came over was sooooo great in helping repair the work that's was done wrong by the people we purchased the house from. He explained everything to us as he went, his customer service was great, he was friendly, and super knowledgeable. Can't thank you enough for helping us out!

      Washing machine broke down during a large laundry day and we called around for a company in the area to fix it. Valley Oak answered the phone and were able to dispatch a technician right away! Trent was professional and knowledgeable. He was able to diagnose and fix the problem within 90 minutes. We are very satisfied with his work and will look to Valley Oak first for any further appliance issues.
