I have owned my home for 28 years. During that time, I have had both positive and negative experiences when hiring a professional to maintain, repair or upgrade my home. The only consistently positive experience has been the 13 years that I have been hiring Victor of VRG Plumbing. Victor has repaired leaks, unclogged drains, fixed a sewer line under my house that had become disconnected, installed new fixtures and new toilets. Each time, Victor has responded quickly to my calls, He sets up an appointment during the first call and then arrives on time and stays until the problem is resolved or the installation is complete. Victor is honest, knowledgeable and conscientious all the while charging very competitive rates. I highly recommend Victor of VRG Plumbing.

I needed a plumber to unclog a shower quickly. Victor was quick to reply on a Saturday with a reasonable quote. When he arrived to our appointment, he greeted me by name and with a smile. The shower clog was not as simple as I originally thought, but Victor was very patient and worked systematically to get my pipe unclogged. The work required him to claw underneath the house in a small claw space. I felt bad, but was glad he found the problem and unclog the pipes. I highly recommend Victor for his professionalism and workmanship. He will get the job done whatever it takes. Thanks Victor.

I've worked with VRG Plumbing on three occasions: once to clear out a blocked sewer pipe, once to inspect my house for a mystery leak, and once to replace a hot water heater. All three times my expectations were exceeded.

The first two times I worked with Victor Sr. But for the water heater I worked with Victor Jr. and Walter. Senior is super-nice and incredibly knowledgeable, but Jr. and Walter really blew me away when they replaced my old hot water heater this past Friday. We didn't know it but we were way out of code in our mid-century home. So they not only replaced the hot water heater, they made major improvements. They anchored and braced it properly, installed the correct pressure valve and routed it to an outside hose bib, and installed a drain pan where I can place a leak monitor. They basically brought us into the 21st century and their pricing was very fair.

They're a small, family operation, so you have to have patience and flexibly when working with them. If an emergency comes up, you might be rescheduled. But guess what--when you have an emergency, they will be there for you. Regardless, your patience will be richly rewarded with best-in-class plumbing at prices you can feel good about. I love that they are a family operation and not some big company that bills at big prices and sends out rando dudes with cheap parts and cheap brands that won't last.

And that reminds me--I'm impressed with the quality of the parts and brands VRG Plumbing uses. They don't cut corners. You get great value in what you're paying for--for both parts AND labor. I don't even shop around anymore. VRG is it for us and I can't tell you how comforting it is to know a truly good plumber that you can rely on time and time again. I cannot say enough good things about Victor and Victor Jr, his son.
I have now used their services a few times and every time, they excel. Two days ago our on-demand water heater died. Victor came right over and by the end of the day, yesterday, he installed a new (and more efficient) water heater.
Victor is very responsive and makes himself immediately available when we have an emergency. He is very friendly, reasonable, and super professional.
He's definitely my guy!

We were painting and removed a pedestal sink in the bathroom to get access to the wall. We turned the water off and when we removed the angle stops we realized the threads of both the hot and cold water supply pipes were rusted out. There was no way to get the new angle stops on so we had to keep the water main completely off. This was an unexpected nightmare and it was time to call a plumber. I immediately looked at Yelp and jotted down a few local plumbers. I called VRG and spoke to Victor, who answered right away. He was very receptive and asked some questions and told me to text him some photos, which I did at 2:31 pm. He said he would see if he could come by in a couple of hours. At 3:28 pm he texted me that he was on his way. He arrived quickly with his son, looked at the rusted pipe threads, explained the options, and clarified the risks of trying to remove the two inch stubs which included possibly breaking the pipes because they were so rusted. If the pipes broke, we would have to open up the wainscotting wall. I agreed to have Victor try to remove the stubs. He carefully and quickly removed the two stubs without any issues. Victor and his son were able to obtain the replacement stubs at a nearby hardware store, installed them, and put on the angle stops. We chatted a bit about possible bathroom remodel options and Victor gave me some great tips on replacement toilets. Victor and his son left at about 4:20 pm. Amazingly, we had our water back in under 1 hour. Excellent customer service, friendly, professional, focused and courteous. Great family business. I would definitely call VRG again for my plumbing needs.

Victor was able to help me out last minute with a clogged toilet. He was very efficient and professional. He explained things well and was even available for follow up questions. Super friendly. I was lucky he was available. I will definitely be calling him again for my plumbing issues.

I discovered a water leak located in my side yard of my backyard. I contacted Victor and was grateful that he responded the same day.
It was a broken pipe in the wall. Victor installed a shut off valve at the site so I could turn the water main back on. Two days later, his team showed up with all the parts needed to repair the broken pipe and to replace the outdoor faucet the pipe it was connected to.
VRG Plumbing did an excellent job for a reasonable price!

I had a major clog in my kitchen drain and drano didn't work. VRG responded quickly and scheduled a next day appointment. Victor was 40 minutes late, so had to send somebody to finish the job the following day, but they did a very thorough job by replacing the pipes l, drain, and snaking. Victor also informed me that I was missing a P-trap and he explained the importance of a P trap. I appreciate his thoughtfulness. His son did not wear a mask in my house, but I did not set the boundary of asking for him to wear the mask, so I do take some responsibility. Next time I will ask. I also had ask to get a receipt a few times so that I can get reimbursed by my landlord. I would hire VRG again.

I've used them twice and both times it was the best service. Quick to show up and gave great advice as well. I recommend them to everyone!

Pleased overall with the quality and end result of the faucet installation. Victor jr and Walter came out whom I found to be friendly, knowledgeable and competent. Giving a rating of 3 stars because I was told a price which I assumed to be a flat rate but ended up per hour which I came to understand when time to pay up 1.5 hrs later. Pretty important detail imo especially when you're trying to pay in cash. I chose VRG because the price I was quoted was significantly less than all the other businesses I was in communication with. In the end I paid close to the same cost as the other quotes so I did not receive the savings benefit I had hoped for.

Victor has helped us out with a few plumbing issues and I highly recommend him. First of all, he's responsive, communicative, and shows up on time. He's completed all of our repairs super quickly and efficiently, minimizing disruption. And each repair he's made, though they've been somewhat small plumbing issues, has been a big improvement for us.

Having a plumber I know I can rely on gives me such peace of mind.
