This is a way overdue review as I have been taking my cars to Werkshop for many years now, but wanted to confirm all the solid reviews about such a great shop. Andy and Wyman are top tier and know what they are doing. Both are very professional, to the point, and that also shows throughout the entire team at Werkshop.

Their professionalism is not the only thing that stands out, it is also their quality and attention to detail. Andy and the team are very good at communicating and always tell you their honest opinions. From their reliability, to maintenance services, as well as protection services, they are simply the best in the Bay Area.

Facts are facts! Werkshop is a first class establishment. I wish I knew of this repair shop years ago, it would have saved me so much heart ache from going to the dealer and feeling like they're up selling me with other maintenance repairs with outrageous pricing.
Andy and team will care for your car as if it is their own. It's not often you can actually say you'll receive quality work at a super fair price but that's exactly what you'll receive here.
Andy notified me on status of vehicle and alarmed me of any other findings requiring service. They're super friendly, professional and very knowledgeable.

Well... the dozens of incredible reviews should tell you everything, but I thought I'd chime in anyways. Reached out to see if they can help me with my turbo buick (it's kind of a niche engine). Got a quick response with an honest answer that they just don't work on these. Also got a recommendation for someone who could help. If you ask me, a mechanic who knows his limits and specializes in what he knows is the ideal person to have. So I didn't actually use them but have tons of respect for their style.

I rarely take time to comment on businesses but I just want to send my gratitude to Andy and his crew coz I have nothing but compliments.

Andy and his team were such a pro and knows actually what they're doing. They walked me step by step with the installation of my new lights with patience and thoroughness. Also, they took care of other sensor issues and were able to resolved it by thinking outside the box.

Very pleased with their services, and if you're looking for auto services, this is the place to go to. You wont regret it.

Andy and Werkshop have continued to maintain and build up my vehicle since 2021 when it was brand new. 21k miles later, the car is running better than when it was on the Subaru lot! Anything from wheels shipped straight from Japan to installing and tuning a high end suspension system with Ohlin coilovers, Werkshop has been able to execute with ease (they also have a new state-of-the-art alignment station/machine). Every simple oil change or intricate modification is done without any shortcuts or errors. Even things I would not have thought of are covered by their work as they simply will not let the car leave the shop until it is safe and the job is done correctly and masterfully. Some people would rather them rush, but I am willing to wait even if it takes longer than estimated.

Andy is one of the OG mechanics and members of the Subaru and general car community. He expertly works on anything from Teslas, BMW's, Hondas, Supras, Subaru's, all exotics, daily drivers, and track cars alike. He is also the most generous and focused person I've known in the US, Asia, and Europe, and he always looks to accommodate the customer's specific needs and circumstances. He even helped me when I got side-swiped on the highway in 2022. I choose not to take my car anywhere else because trust in this industry is rare. Every technician in Werkshop is known and vetted personally by Andy, and it shows.

Even if Werkshop does not offer a service, they have a network of friendly shops that assist them. However, I've seen Werkshop offer tint, auto paint and wheel protection, and more.

Lastly, don't think I know Andy or anybody from Werkshop personally. I don't. I am not trying to earn brown points or anything free. I have just been treated pretty bad by other mechanics, car audio shops, and dealerships too many times before. Business is business, but Werkshop has treated me and my investment with care, respect, and tact to an unequaled level. Thank you.

This was my first time getting PPF. I sent inquiries to a few places through Yelp, and I'm glad I chose Werkshop. They were responsive, managed expectations well, were communicative, offered competitive pricing (no hidden fees either), and were very professional. They've been in business for ten years, and how they run their operation backs up the high praise they've received from others on Yelp.

Even though I was a newbie to PPF and had many questions, Andy took the time to answer all of them. He always responded on the same day, which I appreciated. I think some of the other businesses I contacted got tired of all my questions, and a couple stopped responding. On the day I went to pick up my car, I met Wyman for the first time. I was surprised he already knew all the details I shared with Andy. It demonstrated a clear line of communication within their business, their attention to detail, and how they value their customers. I wish all companies operated like Werkshop. I highly recommend this place.

I have an old 2008 Porsche cayman. Not a very popular or well understood car. I was looking for a shop that could help me to customize as it desperately needed suspension, wheels, and tires. This is the place to come to around here.

Andy was ultra responsive, knowledgeable, and went out of his way to find answers to what he didn't know. He provided good recommendations, was pretty transparent on costs, and got the work done in a timely fashion. He even did a good job handling my anxiety when I thought my wheels had been lost during shipment (they were just delayed by the shipping carrier), and allowed my old wheels to be picked up directly by a seller I arranged.

Results speak for themselves. The car looks and feels as if it was meant to be manufactured this way. Offsets, sizing, height, performance.. it all just works. I have no hesitation recommending this place to anyone. They may not be the cheapest, but custom work is something you want to get done right and stay that way.

High marks to Andy and his crew!! Definitely helped me to fabricate my own dream.
