Serving hand crafted dishes with high-quality ingredients, Azayaka Japanese Fusion is well on its way to becoming one of the top Japanese restaurants in Sacramento. Their unique menu offers fusion otsumami-style Japanese dishes and a variety of sake. Among some of their favorite dishes are their Fire Dragon Roll, Double Toro Roll and Azayaka Roll.
Amy’s 5-star review: I came here recently and enjoyed the friendly service, delicious rolls and clean simple ambiance. We started off with two miso's and their fresh unagi nigiri. The soup as superb flavor and the unagi had a nice salty and smokey flavor. For a main course we got the azayaka roll and crazy rich asians roll. I loved the azayaka! It had the right combo of salty and sweet plus a bit of crunch. The crazy rich asians roll was a lighter more refreshing roll with mango sauce drizzled over the top. Everything was well priced for the size and the service was phenomenal!

Amy’s 4-star review: Hiso is a place I've been meaning to check out for awhile because I love asian fusion food. When we walked in they seated us immediately and I loved the ambiance. They had white and brick walls with warm bulb lighting from above and touches of purple lighting from a strip highlighting the bar. Their seating was very comfortable and it wasn't too loud to have a conversation. We ordered the drunken noodles, mee kati and salmon panang. Drunken noodles: the noodles were very good! Great flavor and not at all dry how this dish can sometimes be at other places. All the veggies and meat was cooked to perfection and it was a good serving size Mee Kati with Ground Pork: Mee Kati, first of all, is fermented curry paste, rice noodles, ground pork, eggs, peanuts, bean sprouts, cabbage, carrots, and mint topped with fried garlic. The broth with the meat came on the side which was interesting. It was unlike anything I've ever tasted and very good. The broth was very flavorful and all the ingredients tasted very fresh. The Salmon Penang: I think that the Penang flavor was very good but I tend to like the curry a little thicker and the salmon was a little dry. It was still super tasty though! All in all Hiso was definitely a good experience and I would recommend it to any asian fusion food lovers;)

Amy’s 5-star review: I came here for Mother's day and it was the best!! I'd been here once before so I knew it was good but I was super happy because my mom absolutely loved it! She called the service "excellent" and the food "superb"! She also appreciated the decor, especially the marble wall. Its so pretty. I had similar feelings. We started off with the fresh shrimp spring rolls and crab wontons. The spring rolls were delicate and light and the crab wontons had a prefect fry crust with a delicious creamy filling. I also got a sour lychee tea for drink which was the perfect combo of sour and sweet! For our main course we got the chicken and lean beef soup, and both had great flavor. I felt like I was being cleansed from the inside. Would highly recommend!
