    I just noticed that there are no CarMax dealers in the San Jose area. Was just wondering if anyone has any good or bad experiences, or recommendations for other dealers in the area?

    Your best bet for buying used is to go with a Certified Pre Owned car. The dealer must go through an extensive inspection and bring all neglected services up to date and make sure the car looks as close to new as possible. They also provide a manufacturer's warranty that is often times as good as you'd get with buying a new car. Honda/Acura and Toyota/Lexus are your best bets. BTW, I am a car dealer and know of what I speak.

    I bought a car from Dublin Toyota a few months back I had a great experience there.  Unlike "typical dealership experience" I was actually surprise by the way I was treated.  I would recommend Parvez @ Dublin Toyota  he is professional and knowledgeable guy and they have TONS of cars to choose from not to mention their LIFE TIME WARRANTY program which is unlike any other warranty I have ever heard of.
