As our recent 5-day trip to Vancouver started at SFO, Gayle and I drove down from Genoa (NV) and parked the car near the Airport. I used the SpotHero app and reserved a spot at Anza Parking at around $87 total (with tax).
My impressions:
1. Anza has a big lot that struck me as a little tired looking. Maybe it was the temporary buildings and the hot days we arrived and left.
2. Shuttle service to Terminal 2 (Air Canada) was efficient enough with a fairly timely pick-up and a helpful driver. He provided a slip of paper with the correct parking spot number. We tipped him $5 for a job well done.
3. Shuttle service from Terminal 2 back to Anza Parking had some issues. One was the long wait at the curb for the van. The other was that our driver drove right past our spot (as shown on the slip). The van did stop at the net row on the way back, so we got off there and walked.
4. The SpotHero QR Code scan worked like a charm coming into the Anza Lot and not coming out. A helpful staff member at the pay window helped with a smile.
NOTES TO SELF
1. Try harder to fly out of Reno (at a good price) and avoid the drive to SFO, and the associated traffic hassles, and parking challenges.
2. If I end up at SFO and chose to use SpotHero again, try to put my "cheaper wins", take a second look after "cheaper wins".
3. Have a little more empathy for the shuttle van drivers. My guess is that there are larger management issues beyond missing a drop off spot or waiting a fairly long time for a pick-up.Helpful 5Thanks 2Love this 6Oh no 0 - Han L.Daly City, Estados Unidos137121821/07/2024
We parked there recently for our ten-day trip. I initially planned to uber from our house to the airport, but we couldn't figure out how to get home, so glad we came upon Anza Airport Parking service.
The parking lot is less than 10 minutes from the airport. The lot is HUGE. Spaces are NOT compact / tight and can fit bigger cars. The ride to and from the airport was quick and safe. The drivers helped us load our heavy luggages. On our return trip, our call to their office was promptly answered and staff was really helpful in guiding us on where to wait for their shuttle pick up.
We'll be going on another trip this Labor Day weekend, and definitely will use their service again.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Lisa T.Pleasanton, Estados Unidos123488/06/2024
We've used Anza for years always without issue. This morning we pulled in and had our two small
Rollies within 5 feet of the door to the shuttle (at 5:10AM) and three other people were right ahead of us - the bus driver closed the door and left.
We had a reservation, we're loyalty customers and the bus driver saw us heading to the door and he slammed the door shut and left- with the bus 1/3 full.
We are now having to wait 25 mins for him to go drop and come back.
What the hell Anza????Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - 9/04/2024Avaliação atualizada
Last week we parked at Anza for a one-week trip. Upon return Saturday night (International Terminal) there were NO Anza shuttles for 35 minutes! During that time we saw 4 Park SFO shuttles. We called 2x and yet nothing. Not fun waiting in the cold with the designated stop adjacent to the smoking area. Of course by that point Anza did not have room for everyone so a few patrons were forced to wait even longer.
Looking at the recent reviews it appears this is par for the course since Anza apparently reduced the number of shuttles. And in fact we experienced the same long waiting time on prior occasions. Beware the high cost of the low price - Anza is not worth it unless you don't value your time.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 118/02/2022Avaliação anteriorThis used to be my favorite parking location (see earlier review) However I can no longer recommend as the bus driver drove right past us when we were waving at him - and this was a few minutes after we had called to let them know where we were waiting. We then saw competing shuttles who stopped and waited for customers that were running toward them. We have also encountered attitude from the cashiers.
Anza personnel need a lesson in customer service.5/01/2020Avaliação anteriorAnza is right off 101 North and very convenient for Peninsula and East Bay flyers. The everyday price is great and doesn't require coupons or prepayment like other lots do. The shuttle always seems to be waiting in the lot, and we rarely have to wait long at the airport for the return. Free valet during the holidays is a big plus, too. Subtract 1* for the somewhat lame payment booth which takes too long especially if you are waiting behind other customers. But otherwise this is one of the best places to park for a week or so at SFO.

Not sure what people expect from off site parking lot's?
I suppose things and circumstances are for everyone. For us it's what it is a parking lot and shuttle to and back from the airport. Be flexible and patient, things happen beyond the driver's control.
My cars safe and the drive is more than tolerable.
Last words...inexpensive, no worries.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 16/08/2022Avaliação anteriorNot sure what people expect from off site parking lot's?

Like everyone else is saying, the shuttle service is horrid. I have been parking here for about 17 years. Used to be great...not sure what they did to change the shuttle service.
We waited for about an hour around midnight. 2 shuttles drove right pass us and didn't even stop. When we called, they kept lying to us that another shuttle was right behind. Everyone at the shuttle stop kept calling and they eventually just stopped answering the phone.
And when the shuttle came, they couldn't fit everyone on. The driver was somewhat polite but very unhelpful.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Leavina B.San Pablo, Estados Unidos0311/07/2024
Great experience. As soon as I got there , they put me on a shuttle to the airport and when I came back from my trip , they were outside the airport waiting to take me back to my car. They come around every few minutes so you're hardly waiting ... Everything was easy and fast. No wait time whatsoever. I will continue to use this service !!!

I like the location because I live south and park n fly is north but had to wait 20 minutes for a pickup. In the meantime there were PNF buses every 2 minutes.

Shuttle is good. Price was way more than it was supposed to be. I made a reservation on line and they quoted me a lower rate than what I had to pay.

Parked my car here for 10 days while traveling for Thanksgiving. The valet service is no additional charge, which was nice. The shuttles run frequently, I didn't wait at all to catch a shuttle to SFO and less than 15 min to get back to the lot upon return. Also - the shuttle driver called ahead when I got on at SFO and my car was ready for me when I arrived (with the windows defrosted and everything!). Also - Kevin Huang (a manager) was very helpful when I had trouble exiting the lot.
Overall, a great experience with a third party parking service for SFO!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
