Dr. Jeans teaches about environmental science, the conditions of planet Earth that are understood through the fields of geology and physical geography, and what people learn from exploring the matter of space and associated phenomena of the universe through the field of astronomy. He practices at several universities, instructing undergraduates and mentoring professional colleagues and novices in facilitating better methods with energy and creativity.

I talked with Dr. Jeans about how he first became interested in science, his area(s) of special interest, how he has experienced conflict in being a person in both academic and religious settings, and how Science and Christianity interact.
