Bridging Faith to the Future of Genomic Research

All of Us is collaborating with the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture to host a community convening that delves into the vital intersections of race, faith, and science. This event will bring together leaders from faith-based communities and genomic research to explore and shape the future of healthcare and equity. This is a hybrid event and will be held in-person and livestreamed.

A planning committee of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) held a public workshop to examine how researchers could more meaningfully engage and sustain interactions with historically underrepresented communities in research to foster their participation in genomics and precision health studies.
