Enterprise Burton on Trent

Enterprise Burton on Trent. I had a reservation booking booked at this branch which was cancelled because enterprise did not have the vehicle they said they had. 19 days later and I finally get my money back. Beware of this branch they refuse to process refunds I had to contact customer services to sort this out. Very disappointed in this company it’s not worth trying to hire a vehicle off this company.

They just completely ignore your emails and give no alternative

After a successful hire, we were charged a £35 admin fee to our credit card for 'fines' associated with the hire. Turns out, we had forgotten to pay the Dartford crossing. I immediately called the Dartford crossing line, explained the situation and they waived the fine and we just paid the £2.50 fee.

I wrote to drfine @ ehi.com as instructed to get the £35 claim back. After 3 weeks and 2 follow ups, I still had no response. I went into the physical Ber Street Norwich pickup centre and asked about it. I was told there was no other way to contact support other than that email and "we agree, they're terrible at responding. Cc' me in and I'll see if I can move things along."

Cc'd in the Branch manager Alex Bates. Still no response from anyone 25 days later. Phoned up Ber Street and got another manager's name (Edward Bye) and cc'd him in. Still no response 18 days later.

Clearly they intend to ignore me until I give up. I'm lucky I'm only down £35, sounds like others here are losing thousands of pounds to this company. I won't stop contacting them until someone responds to me.

Never hire a car from this companyNever…

Never hire a car from this companyNever use this company. They demanded a $1008 deposit hold for the car hire. Took the car back in perfect condition with a full tank.
The I was told it will take up to one month to get my deposit back. They must be earning interest on everybody’s money.
Contacted my bank and the said it should only take 2 days.

Called up their support but they could not give me any timeframe and that how the company works. Nearly 3 weeks now and I still don’t have my money.

This company is a scam. Never use them.

Jamal at Huddersfield Branch

Excellent service from Jamal at Huddersfield.

I went to pick up a car that my insurance arranged. I was greeted by Jamal and he was both professional and informative.

He explained the process, carried out all the required checks and answered any questions I had.

Thank you very much!

Be Warned

Be Warned! Enterprise have taken £35 out off my account 2 weeks post rental for an apparent ‘traffic violation’ with no letter, email or phone call to me to say that the DVLA had recorded this happening. They set up the £35 as a reoccurring payment! Enterprise should not be taking money from an account without advising what for and the details of the incident. Customer service at head office at head office is appalling. Awaiting email from enterprise and DVLA for more information.

Scammers Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Scammers Enterprise Rent-A-Car – Charged $1825/-

Scammers charged me $1825! Enterprise Rent-A-Car is a scam. They billed me for a tiny 1.5-inch scratch that was already there before I rented the car. When I picked up the car, they refused to give me the damage report. They insisted it would be emailed later and told me everything was fine. Fortunately, I recorded a video showing all the pre-existing damage.
When I returned the car, they didn't inspect it and hurried me to leave, promising I'd get the checkout report later. They returned my deposit after one day, but then, 16 days later, they suddenly charged me approximately 1650 Swiss francs ($1828). I filed a complaint with their help center, providing the video with location, date, and time stamps, but they haven't replied in over three weeks.
Avoid Enterprise Rent-A-Car at all costs. This isn't a legitimate business; it's a major scam.

Unacceptable Charges (£2000) and Poor Service - Avoid Enterprise Rent-A-Car

I had a very disappointing experience with Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Belfast. They charged me £1500 for an almost invisible scratch that was already there when they handed over the car. Despite my insistence, they refused to provide a damage report at the time of pick-up and assured me that everything was fine. They didn't take a video of the car or suggest we check for any scratches, making us feel we were ready to go.

When returning the car at the airport, the staff suddenly spotted the pre-existing scratch and demanded £2000. After reviewing my contract, I noted that the excess should be £1500, which is still an unacceptable charge given the circumstances.

Moreover, the baby car seat they provided was old and without any manual. The staff informed us they are not responsible for installing it. With a baby under one year old, it was extremely challenging to install an outdated car seat without any instructions, which were also impossible to find online.

Overall, the service was incredibly frustrating, and the unexpected charges are unacceptable. I would strongly advise avoiding Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

Attention Fraud - Enterprise KTW Poland

Attention Fraud! - If no insurance is taken out, they fabricate the damage and claim that you caused it. There is no one on site, and you have no way to dispute it – it is simply systematic fraud, and in my case, they got away with it – by the way, they charged 1200 zloty for it – STAY AWAY from this company, ALAMO / Car Hire Poland Ltd., or force them to come out at 1 AM to document every little scratch you can find to stop this fraud.

Insurance Scam

Enterprise Scam for getting an additional insurance on fully covered insurance. Besides, it took forever for them do logistics to release the car. If possible, please book something else.

Hopeless

Hopeless. I will never use use this company. Refused to release a car to us because the credit card didn't match the licence. My wife had our marriage certificate and another company accepted it so we rented from them instead. They also say we have to wait 10 days for the refund. Crooks. We rent cars often and this is the first time we have encountered this. I'd highly recommend to stay away from these people.

UNSAFE

1st vehicle would not start as it couldn't detect the key.
2nd vehicle had a message flash up it was 11 months past its ervice and also a key malfunction message.
Both cars weren't clean.
The itimised invoice added up $ 62.00 less than was charged but no staff member could explain the discrepancy.
According to customer service who basically forwards my feedback/complaint back to the local office says 'Thank you for your feedback' but the car was cleaned, serviced and the key malfunction is a known problem but I guess they rented it out anyway. Use Avis or Herz as this is a backyard operation here in Australia anyway

Can't Trust What Enterprise Tells You

My insurance company made a reservation for me. I called and asked for a Nissan Rogue. Arrived, and no Rogue. Wound up with a Chevy Equinox. Driving position actually painful. Asked for help. Told that they had a Rogue but close to closing time. No worries, they would hold it for the morning. Called in the morning, oops, they “had to rent it”. Clearly, can’t trust what they tell you.

Later, Customer Service at Enterprise sent me a standard form letter, making clear that there was no problem (pathetic)

Loved renting a car with you

Rented a Mazda 6 at the keighley branch , was abit hesitant with reviews , however I was overwhelmed with the service , easy to book 2 pickup , yes they take a 200£ deposit but respect the car and return it as you picked it up along with the same amount of fuel and it's great ! Wish I could if bought that car off then haha ! Would easily recommend- thankyou!

Scammers

Dishonest and deceitful staff.
If you have no other option but to hire a car from this company be aware of the £200 deposit which is required upon collection. Take lots of date and time marked photos of the car and tyres upon collection and when returning it. Be prepared to be accused of damaging the car or the tyre sidewall, they are used to taking advantage of honest people. If you don’t pay for all the added protections then they will find problems with the car or tyres and charge you for them when you return it and you won’t have a leg to stand on due to the small print in the T’s and C’s and them having your bank details. Try to get written confirmation from a member of staff that there is nothing wrong with the vehicle when you return it.

Extortion.Fraud.Extremely not happy.

We are extremely not happy about the Enterprise Chippenham. Our insurer chose Enterprise for booking cortensy car. When we receive the car we just quickly looked around with the Enterprise employee. We found a scratch on the wheels rim, and said they are aware of it. We had a car for over a week, driving just to work. After returning the vehicle the lady - Z.C. was checking the car around. It took her seconds to walk the car around and suddenly stopped by the wheels tyres and find small chip. It is something very difficult to see, definitely more time is needed to notice it. But for her it was couple of seconds. We are sure they were aware of the damage before. Also the chip was exactly next to the wheel rim damage they knew about before. So that was probably damaged at the same time. We wanted to see the picture of the car taken the day we have received it to see if it was in perfect condition or the damage was there. We didn't want to pay for it. But the lady said that her manager is not in and she can't let us go and took a money from our debit anyway and it was £198. She didn't even wanted to talk to us, she was chasing to finish the conversation over. That was a fraud, extortion. We feel deceived.
Everyone please make sure before you get the car from them you take plenty of time to check everything, literally everything and take lots of picture so they don't hit you up for a money.

Prebooked

Prebooked, but car not ready, 30 mins registration and 15 min wait time to get keys. No automatic which should be standard. Several people ordered automatic with confirmation were all very disappointed. Use one of the other rentals.
