Christopher Adkins and Sgt. 1st Class Sean Jeon July 12 during the Medical Readiness Command, Europe Organizational Day. The O2M3 recognizes individuals who demonstrate high integrity and moral character, are in the top 10% of their Corps and field, have excelled professionally in the Army Medical Department (AMEDD) for at least 15 years, contributed selflessly, and enhanced Army Medicine.

    CDC sets new rules for bringing dogs into the U.S. Starting August 1, 2024 at 12:01AM ET, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention set new import requirements for dogs entering the United States. With the recent changes from the CDC, Public Health Command Europe veterinarians strongly encourage service members and civilians, who are moving back to the U.S. with their dog after 1 August, to plan accordingly and get familiar with the new entry requirements.

    LANDSTUHL, Germany -- Brig. Gen. Roger Giraud, commander of Medical Readiness Command, Europe and director of Defense Health Network Europe, along with Command Sgt. Maj. Jesus Gonzalez, had the pleasure of recognizing several Army and Air Force non-commissioned officers for their incredible work in hosting more than 120 Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) Cadets and Cadre from the Kaiserslautern Military Community June 10. The team from Landstuhl Regional Medical Center meticulously designed the day-long event to inspire, educate, and foster the leadership skills of these outstanding cadets. During their visit to Landstuhl Regional Medical Center (LRMC), the AFJROTC Cadets received a comprehensive orientation of LRMC's mission, capabilities, and scope of practice.     A READY MEDICAL FORCE! LANDSTUHL, Germany – The 7450th Medical Operational Readiness Unit (FWD) Det 64 relinquished authority of the Deployed Warrior Medical Management Center (DWMMC) at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center (LRMC) to the 7451st Medical Operational Readiness Unit (FWD) Det 2, during a transfer of authority ceremony July 8. The DWMMC is responsible for tracking all patients being evacuated from Combatant Commands (COCOMS) and serves as the permanent link between the combat theater and continental United States medical facilities. The DWMMC originated from the LRMC Patient Administration Division Aeromedical Evacuation (PADAE) office.

    HAPPY 107th BIRTHDAY ARMY MEDICAL SERVICE CORPS The U.S. Army Medical Service Corps celebrated 107 years of service on 30 June. The Medical Service Corps consists of four multi-functional areas comprised of 23 areas of concentration, and four additional skill identifiers. MSC officers serve in administrative health services, medical allied sciences, preventive medicine, behavioral health, pharmacy, optometry, podiatry, aeromedical evacuation, and as health services maintenance technicians.
