Recorder's Office - Historic Book Search Menu

Please be advised we are currently working on the Statewide Historic Book imaging project. Images will be added to the database as available.
The historic book scanning project requires us to obtain the best possible image available from the book record. It does not mean we will always be able to obtain a clear, legible image because some of the pages, documents and even entire books had considerable damage from a variety of factors.   Every effort was made to obtain the best possible image at the time of scanning. Once these scanned books are sent to State Archives they cease to belong to the Recorder's Office and become the property of State Archives in Juneau.
