      Government to inspect 100% quality tests by contractors under EPC mode of highway construction

      Ministry of road transport and highways on Thursday notified amendments to the model engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) agreement and request for proposal (RFP) for consultancy services for authority’s engineer for supervision of EPC projects, mandating engineers to undertake 100% inspection on all new road and bridge projects awarded as against the mandate of inspecting only 50% and 60% projects respectively.
