Make a Public Comment

If you would like to comment on a case, there are three ways you can do that. Please see the options below and follow the instructions for commenting.

  1. 1. Comment on a Case through the ICC website

If you would like to comment on a case using the ICC's website, please use Search eDocket.

  2. 2. Comment on a Case by calling the ICC

If you prefer talking to a person, you may contact the Illinois Commerce Commission using the toll-free number at 800-524-0795. A Counselor will be happy to take your comment on the case you are calling about.

  3. 3. Speak at a Commission Open Public Meeting

If you would like to speak before the Commission, please find the instructions at Instructions to Speak Before the Commission. Due to Illinois Department of Public Health and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines related to the COVID-19 pandemic, individuals who wish to make a public comment during a Commission meeting are strongly encouraged to participate remotely through virtual or telephonic means. To comply with social distancing guidelines, requests to provide a public comment in person at an ICC office during a Commission meeting are subject to applicable occupancy limitations. The ICC may not be able to accommodate your request to speak in person during a Commission meeting, and therefore, you may be required to participate via remote access (WebEx or telephone).
