Definitely Recommend

Service from the team was exceptional. Any questions I had, they answered without hesitation. Shuttle to the airport after drop off was incredible! Niko the shuttle driver was phenomenal and very very friendly! Highly recommend JUCY Christchurch! :)

Do not use this company

Do not use this company! Their emergency service to help with any broken down vehicles is useless, when our RV broke down it took a day for the new RV to arrive, and they refuse to pay us the money for an overnight hotel stay despite full insurance with them and telling us over the phone that they’d cover any hotel fares. After dropping off said RV, they also didn’t provide any duvets or deck chairs. Overall, the service here is very poor and the vehicles are barely road legal.

Rent a Dent??

See previous comment. Your staff did, after some discussion, switch us to another vehicle that had only done 200,000km, but it too has suffered some hardship over its life.

Staff were friendly and very…

Staff were friendly and very informative, knew where to find required documents and very helpful with ideas of where to visit in Area.
Had 2x kids 5&6 with me booster seats supplied at a good price and easy to use.

No shuttle bus on weekend

No shuttle bus on weekend
Thay say they have a shuttle bus run from the airport, but no on weekend. We wasted time.
Other than that, no problem so far.

Customer service was impeccable

The price and value were what drew us in initially but after our flight was delayed Pedro in the Brisbane office made us feel truly valued and special, made sure we knew what was needed from us and stayed late to make sure we could pick up or rental. Would highly recommend Jucy for car rental in Brisbane.

The staff were very friendly and…yes

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The car was not fancy but very dependable. We travelled approximately 2000kms with only on incident being a flat tyre. I would recommend Jucy to anyone as they are well serviced throughout Australia and in Our Instance Queensalnd

My whole experience was as smooth as it…

My whole experience was as smooth as it gets, only thing is I lost 2 days of rental due to my flight got cancelled and could not pick up the car on the week end after 2pm. Other than that the satff were extremely helpful, car was clean and as expected. Keep the juice flowing!!!!

Amazing service

Amazing service. Very reasonably priced. Afterpay available. Cars were clean and neat - no trouble finding the shuttle from airport. Definitely will use again !

Never again!!

We had a bad camper for 4 weeks.
We had leaking water pipes and water tanks.
The oil light in the dashboard was on every morning and the engine lamp came on sometimes too and then we also had a problem with the house battery.
The service wasn't good. We wrote emails, but the replies didn't come until about 12 hours later and they were no help.
Then we made a phone call and they disconnected us after 10 minutes. No support, no real help.
We booked the stress-free package, but it wasn't stress-free at all.
Never again!!

Thank you Maya Dornig!

Unfortunately, I waited until less than two weeks before my trip to Christchurch before attempting to book a camper van for my extended NZ trip. I tried several companies to no avail. Finally, I contacted Maya Dornig at Jucy by emailing. I was flying into Christchurch and they had no available rentals there. She was however, able to book me one in Queenstown. Although inconvenient initially, at least I would be able to carry out my plans of my long awaited trip.
I felt that Maya went above and beyond in her trying to accommodate my needs in our multiple email and one over the phone exchanges and even arranged for me to pickup the fan a couple of days later to allow for travel ing Queenstown.

Lost trust in vehicle safety - Jucy Camper

On a positive note the Jucy Cruiser van was a good size for two people, ran well and was very fuel efficient.
Upon pick up check the fuel level as the one we picked up was 1/3 full.
Sadly on our last day the bracket that held the fuel tank to the vehicle came off. We were able to retrieve the bracket and limp into a service centre to call Jucy. We were there for 5.5hrs regularly calling Jucy to find out what was happening. The information given was not clear or accurate.
At one point roadside assistance inspected the vehicle and advised it was unsafe to drive due to a cracked chassis. Even with that information Jucy sent a mechanic who patched the van and we had to then drive it (with our heart in our mouth) back to the depot and get back our accommodation in Auckland after a full day wasted in the car park of a truck stop.
Due to this experience we would not recommend Jucy Campers.

Excellent experience

We had an excellent experience renting a camper van for 5 days with Jucy in Melbourne. We must extend a big thank you to Gaby who gave us a big and fantastic van. We had no problems with the vehicle. The staff at Jucy gave us great tips and excellent customer service, which helped us a lot. When we had to catch an onward flight at night, Jucy was adaptable and helped us with the logistics for this. Jucy can really be recommended.

Hired a Jucy van from Auckland

Hired a Jucy van from Auckland, was told there was a free shuttle, only has to call the number. Waited for 40minutes on hold while trying to wrangle 2 toddlers after being up from 2am that day. No one would answer the phone. I emailed Jucy and asked them to send the shuttle bus , only to get a reply back telling us to just take a taxi with a possible refund, which would take 3-5 business days. I indeed up calling a friend to pick us up. When we finally arrived at Jucy and hour and a half after we exited the airport, we were met with a woman trying to over charge us by $120!! Claiming , unless I had the exact quote layout that they provide, then I would have to pay the extra amount. I'm not sure if this is some kind of common spam tactic for tourists but the mistake was thinking I was a tourist from a non-english speaking country. As a kiwi, I knew exactly how the rules work, I was given a quote, paid a deposit and it must not be changed after the customer has received it. I had to spend an extra 40 minutes sorting through email after email to find the exact formated email they were after before they let us pay the quoted price and we could get moving. And after all of that, the fridge didn't work and we had to rewire it. Positives? The actual van run well, no issues there, the gentleman who checked our van before and after getting the van was polite and professional and the gentleman, Zac who booked everything online for us was wonderful!

Interior was dirty and not in great condition

The van provided to us was really old, with over 400,000 kilometers on it. If Jucy is going to rent out old vehicles, they should consider replacing all the interior components. Mechanically, the vehicle was 'okay,' but the interior, specifically the bedding and mattress did not feel clean. The sliding side door never closed properly and will never lock the first time.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. The stereo charging ports and refrigerator all were not operating properly resulting in wasted food and having to plan around. Upon returning we were told we could not get more than a 10% refund since we did not call before returning, even though it is obvious these items were not functioning.. Avoid Jucy. Try another company unless you want a pos 2004 van in which everything is broken.
