LONG BEACH, CA — Long Beach police seized four guns in separate incidents Monday night.

The first gun was seized at about 5:44 p.m. in the area of Anaheim Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Police said they stopped a boy while he was walking and he was arrested.

Police seized another gun at 7:38 p.m. during a high-risk traffic stop on a vehicle believed to be stolen. After police stopped the suspect in the 800 block of East Pacific Coast Highway they said they discovered he was a prohibited possessor and arrested him.

Later in the night at 11 p.m., the High Crime Focus Team performed a traffic stop in the area of Long Beach Boulevard and Bort Street. Police seized one gun during the incident and the suspect was arrested.

The last gun was seized at about 12:02 a.m. on Tuesday during a traffic stop in the 1800 block of Canal Avenue. According to police, the suspect was a prohibited possessor and was arrested.
