LONG BEACH, CA — A boy was arrested Saturday in connection to an early-morning shooting that sent a teenage boy to a hospital and for three previous shootings, according to the Long Beach Police Department.

The boy, whose age and name was not released, was arrested after the 1:40 a.m. Saturday shooting near Baltic Avenue and Burnett Street. That shooting left a 16-year-old boy wounded in the lower body, police said.

The incident was the third shooting connected to the boy. He was detained by officers and identified as the same suspected wanted for a no-hit shooting that occurred Feb. 27 around the same area, police said.
