KOI has been a sushi staple in Los Angeles for more than 20 years. Their signature dishes and custom cocktails remain after the eatery moved just a few doors up from its original location on La Cienega Boulevard last year.

The new spot offers a huge open dining room with huge cozy round banquettes and tables and high ceilings with plenty of light. There is also a nice covered patio seating area. The menu includes house favorites like their Koi crispy rice, baked crab rolls, dragon rolls, braised short ribs and miso cod.

Starters include creamy shrimp tempura; tuna carpaccio; salmon carpaccio with black truffle; Kobe potstickers; a variety of sushi and sashimi; baked crab roll; and their Oneji roll with salmon, avocado and lemon.
