Ocean Water Use Warning Issued Again For Mother's Beach

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health extended its warning Saturday for waters near Mother's Beach in Marina del Rey.

MARINA DEL REY, CA — An ocean water use warning was extended Saturday at Mother's Beach in Marina del Rey and lifted at other local beaches, Los Angeles County Department of Public Health officials announced.

As of Saturday, people are still urged to be careful before playing or swimming in the ocean near Mother's Beach.

"The warning has been issued due to bacterial levels exceeding health standards when last tested," public health officials said.

Ocean water use warnings were lifted Friday night for the Santa Monica Pier.
