Logo Unveiled for the 2016 Millbrae Art & Wine Festival

The Millbrae Chamber of Commerce introduced the official logo for the 2016 Art & Wine Festival. The logo was designed by local artist Vasco Morelli.

"Vasco’s such an amazing creative talent,” said Festival Chair Lisa Fitzgibbons-Charney of Millbrae Jewelers. We love the fabulous artwork he comes up with every year and recognize its importance in setting the tone for the festival."

This year's design celebrates the festival by focusing on the festive, happy, summery vibe the festival is known for,” said Morelli. “Rather than use traditional elements that adorn similar events (paint brushes, wine glasses, etc), bold colors and graphic shapes provide an impactful look while still staying true to the approachable nature of the festival. Using this combined graphic approach showcases Millbrae, art, wine and summer as all synonymous themes,” said the artist.

The logo will adorn wine and beer glasses, volunteer t-shirts and be the centerpiece of advertising and promotion for this year’s 46th annual festival, widely considered one of the premier events in the Bay Area.

The 2016 Millbrae Art & Wine Festival will take place September 3-4 from 10 am to 5 pm on Broadway. Admission is free.
