Pacific Palisades Zip Code Among 100 Most Expensive In U.S.

Los Angeles County has the highest number of pricey zips of any county nationwide, according to new data from PropertyShark.

PACIFIC PALISADES, CA – It's a known fact that California real estate is expensive. PropertyShark released a list Tuesday of the 100 priciest zip codes in the U.S., and a whopping 82 entries are in the Golden State.

Los Angeles County has the highest number of pricey zips of any county nationwide, with 19 of its zip codes making an appearance on the list.

Pacific Palisades' 90272 zip code ranked 16th most expensive in the country with a median home sale price of $2.9 million.

PropertyShark's Methodology: To determine which were the most expensive ZIP codes in the U.S., PropertyShark looked at all residential transactions closed in 2018, taking into account condo, co-ops, single- and two-family homes. All package deals were excluded. Due to a number of ties, 117 zip codes made it into Property Shark's top 100 most expensive zip codes in 2018.
