College of the Desert Pharmacy Technician Program Winter 2020

College of the Desert is pleased to announce a new Pharmacy Technician training program beginning February 4th, 2020 at PaCE. The class meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 pm - 9:30 pm. The class ends on May 26th, 2020 with a 120 hours externship following the end of class ending in October, 2020. This 300-hour program is offered in partnership with MK Education and meets the training requirements in California for a certified pharmacy technician. The program prepares students for employment as a pharmacy technician in California and also for national certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) and National Healthcareer Association (NHA). This program is eligible for financial assistance under the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA). Certain eligibility requirements apply.
