Over 1,000 Seasonal Workers Needed For San Diego County Fair

A variety of jobs are available, including exhibits attendants,​ guest services ambassadors, ticket takers, traffic directors and more.

SAN DIEGO, CA — Hundreds of seasonal workers are needed for the San Diego County Fair.

The 22nd District Agricultural Association, which owns and operates the Del Mar Fairgrounds, is hiring more than 1,000 temporary workers for the fair, which returns this summer to the fairgrounds.

A variety of jobs are available, including exhibits attendants, guest services ambassadors, ticket takers, traffic directors and more. Hourly pay rates start at $16, but could be higher depending on the position.

The 20-day fair will be open from June 12 through July 7 at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. It will be closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Many jobs start prior to the beginning of the fair, and hiring has already begun for some positions.
