SF Puppy Cam: SPCA Livestreams Adoptable Pets

San Francisco SPCA launched a livestream cam of its puppies, adult cats and kittens for those looking to adopt this holiday season.

On Tuesday, SPCA launched 'Holiday Windows,' a live cam for puppies, kittens and cats that will be available to stream until Jan. 3. The cam is for those looking to adopt or for anyone wanting to witness the cuteness from the safety of their homes.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Any other year, volunteers from San Francisco SPCA would bring their adoptable pets to Macy's Union Square to meet prospective owners. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the SPCA board has found a workaround — a 24-hour livestream of its animals.

On Tuesday, SPCA launched 'Holiday Windows,' a live cam for puppies, kittens and cats that will be available to stream until Jan. 3. The cam is meant to help those looking to adopt view the cuteness from the comfort and safety of their homes as coronavirus cases surge across the Bay Area.

Pet rooms were decked out with holiday stockings, candy canes and snowflakes.
