The latest figures on snowfall totals from across the state.

HARTFORD, CT — Connecticut saw its first snowfall of the season 12 days before the start of winter and it will continue into early Sunday. Winter Storm Warnings for the Shoreline have been dropped and replaced with a Winter Weather Advisory.

The National Weather Service says Middlesex and New London counties and the coast of New Haven County will see an additional 2 to 3 inches this evening and overnight. Fairfield County, inland sections of New Haven County will see an additional 1 to 2 inches before snow ends early Sunday. An additional 1 to 3 inches is possible in Hartford and Tolland counties.

NBC Connecticut Meteorologist Ryan Hanrahan said at 6 p.m. "One heck of a band from New Canaan to Hartford right now producing rates of close to 1"/per hour. Snow is really piling up here and will exceed my expectations from earlier. These "mesoscale bands" as we call them always manage to surprise."
