19th Annual Dream Ride Experience August 23-25

Event will benefit The Hometown Foundation and Special Olympics

The Dream Ride Experience is more than an event – it is a movement that makes dreams come true. Dream Ride benefits The Hometown Foundation, Inc. and Special Olympics and provides a weekend packed with fun activities, extraordinary cars, motorcycles and entertainment for guests of all ages. The three-day event has grown into the largest philanthropic endeavor of Bozzuto’s, Inc. and The Hometown Foundation Inc. It brings in thousands of attendees and hundreds of athletes traveling from all over the world to participate. The event will take place from August 23rd – August 25th 2019 at The Farmington Polo Club, 152 Town Farm Road in Farmington. General admission is $5.00 however VIP all-access, one-day and weekend passes are available for purchase. Passes entitle attendees to meals, entertainment, and Main Tent access. The Dream Ride Experience will feature a police escorted 40-mile motorcycle cruise through the central Connecticut countryside on Sunday morning and a motorcycle show throughout the day with unique and one-off bikes displayed. A police escorted Dream Cruise and Dream Show with exotic and classic cars are the two-marque car events for the weekend. Vendors, a Family Fun Zone featuring carnival rides and attractions, live bands, a Special Olympics Unified Sports® basketball tournament, a Fireman's Chili Cook-Off, Police K-9 Challenge, and a pet rescue round out the attractions of this amazing event creating awareness for intellectual disabilities and creating true inclusion for athletes and participants alike.

For the second time, The Hometown Foundation, Inc. will host WWE superstars at The Dream Ride Experience. Special Olympics athletes will be able to meet and greet WWE superstars as well as participate in some surprise activities together at Dream Ride. Dream Ride will also be home to The Harley Davidson Demo truck first in the country. The 2020 lineup will be open to the event attendees as well as test rides. The Dream Ride Experience was founded and started by Michael A. Bozzuto, CEO of Bozzuto’s Inc. Originally an optimistic vision with 12 motorcycles and the goal of shedding light on the countless abilities of individuals with intellectual disabilities. Overtime the foundation used the same vision to build up to what it is today. In 2018, the Dream Ride Experience raised a record $2 million to support The Hometown Foundation & Special Olympics, Inc.; it has raised over $10 million since its inception.
