Foxwoods Provides Update On Massive Great Wolf Lodge Expansion
Construction is well underway on the $300-million, family-friendly waterpark resort that will open next to Foxwoods.
LEDYARD, CT — The Great Wolf Lodge at Foxwoods is on track for opening in early 2025.
Construction is up to the third floor of the hotel with the waterpark completely enclosed, according to Foxwoods. Water slides will be installed in the coming weeks.
The $300-million, 549-room indoor water-park resort broke ground on a 13-acre property next to Foxwoods early last year.

Great Wolf is North America's largest family of indoor water park resorts. The new resort will be its third in the Northeast and its 23rd in North America.
The resort is expected to create 500 full-time and part-time jobs.

The Mashantucket location will be the company's 23rd resort. The eight-story resort will feature a 91,000-square-foot indoor water park and a 61,000-square foot family entertainment center.
Great Wolf Lodge will also feature complimentary family events, dining options, an adventure park, and family-friendly suites.
The property will boast more than 7,500 square feet of flexible conference space with breakout rooms, built in A/V technology, and customizable catering options.
