Groton Police to Host Tip-A-Cop for Special Olympics May 30

Officers with the Groton Police Department will host a Tip-A-Cop fundraiser to benefit Special Olympics Connecticut at Par Four Restaurant on Thursday, May 30, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Par Four Restaurant is located at 93 Plant Street in Groton.

Throughout the event, the officers will volunteer their time to assist restaurant wait staff in taking orders for dinner and serving customers. All tips they receive for their efforts will go to Special Olympics Connecticut to support its year-round sports, health and fitness programs for athletes of all abilities. About the Special Olympics Connecticut Law Enforcement Torch Run®

The Law Enforcement Torch Run® for Special Olympics Connecticut is one of the movement's largest grass-roots fundraiser and public awareness vehicles.
