Orange's Labor Day Weekend Weather Forecast Takes A Turn For The Worse

ORANGE, CT — We're getting closer to the long Labor Day holiday weekend and it appears two of the three days will feature pretty good weather, but it now looks like some rain, due to the remnants of Hurricane Harvey, will also be around and impact this weekend's weather.

Once again it will continue to feel fall-like through Sunday but on Labor Day itself, temps should rebound to around 80 degrees and it will feel more like summer. But Friday's high temp may not even hit 70 degrees.

Accuweather.com says, "During Saturday into Sunday, Harvey may blend with a non-tropical storm and rainfall may become more spread out as it reaches the Northeast." Accuweather.com says 1-2 inches of rain is possible in the Northeast this weekend.

WFSB 3 TV Meteorologists say Labor Day itself looks "great," but Sunday may be rainy, but that is still uncertain.

"A storm system will move through New England on Sunday and it could bring a period of steady and possibly heavy rain," WFSB 3 TV Meteorologists state.

If you're planning an outdoor event and or barbecue this weekend, Saturday and Monday look like the safest options as of right now.

Labor Day: Mostly sunny, with a high near 80.

Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 65.
