Central Connecticut State University, New Britain CT

• Michelle Carrasquillo, Vilmari Gonzalez, Kenil Patel, Adam Pelletier and Gianna Silva, all of Windsor Locks, were named to the spring 2024 Dean’s List at Central Connecticut State University.

College of Our Lady of the Elms, Chicopee MA

• The College of Our Lady of the Elms congratulates more than 400 students who received their degrees during its 93rd commencement on May 18, 2024 at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, Massachusetts. Local graduates were Audrey Kuronya of Windsor Locks, Bachelor of Science degree in social work; Kathryn Lapierre of Windsor Locks, Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in family nurse practitioner; Amanda McKeon of Windsor Locks, Bachelor of Science degree in nursing; and Brian Moskal of Broad Brook, Master of Arts in Teaching degree in teaching.
• Lucas Pharattanavong, of Windsor Locks, was named to the College of Our Lady of the Elms spring 2024 Dean's List. To qualify, a full-time student must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher, without incompletes.

Dean College, Franklin MA

• Justin Pequita of Windsor Locks has earned a place on the Dean's List for the spring 2024 semester. Students named to the Dean's List have demonstrated a serious commitment to their studies while at Dean College.

Endicott College, Beverly MA

• Sydney Williams of Broad Brook made the Dean's List for the spring 2024 semester. To be named to the Dean’s List, a student must obtain a minimum grade point average of 3.5, receive no grade below a "C," have no withdrawal grades, and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits for the semester.

Siena College, Loudonville NY

• Morgan Morell of East Windsor has been named to the Siena College Dean's List for the spring 2024 semester. To be named to the Dean's List, a student's grade point average for the semester must be between 3.5 and 3.89.

University of Rhode Island, Kingston RI

• The University of Rhode Island celebrated more than 4,100 of its newest alumni during the university's 2024 commencement. Nearly 4,000 undergraduate degrees and 800 graduate degrees were conveyed to students during the ceremonies, which took place May 17-19, 2024.
  Among them were Broad Brook residents Asha Patel and Bayleigh Piorek.

Western New England University, Springfield MA

• Windsor Locks resident Sydney Shepard, a criminal justice major, was welcomed into Alpha Phi Sigma National Honor Society on May 2 at the Western New England University chapter's annual induction ceremony in the Campus Center. Alpha Phi Sigma is the national criminal justice honor society. The mission of the society is to promote critical thinking, rigorous scholarship, and lifelong learning to keep abreast of the advances in scientific research; to elevate the ethical standards of the criminal justice profession; and to sustain in the public mind the benefit and necessity of education and professional training.
