CLEARWATER, FL — Beginning Feb. 18, Clearwater Beach visitors who use the on-street parking spaces along Manadalay Avenue will see some changes to the parking meters and rates as the city continues to roll out its new pay-by-plate touch-screen parking meter technology.

This area impacts on-street parking from the roundabout north to Baymont Street. The parking meters have been installed in several parking lots throughout Clearwater Beach. The on-street parking spaces along Mandalay Avenue are some of the last parking spaces on Clearwater Beach to receive the improved technology.

All parking spots along this route will remain open during the improvements. The new rate to park in these on-street parking spaces is $3.50 per hour. In addition, the time limit for on-street parking on Clearwater Beach and along Mandalay Avenue has increased from a two-hour time limit to a five-hour time limit.
