CLEARWATER, FL — Drivers should be on the lookout for Florida Department of Transportation crews working at Clearwater railroad crossings located at Myrtle, Court and Chestnut streets from Sunday, Sept. 27 through Tuesday, Sept. 29.

Along the train tracks, crews will install dynamic envelopes, which are a series of white Xs designed to keep motorists out of the danger zone.

These safety enhancements are part of #OperationStride and #RailSafetyWeek, and they're meant to reduce the number of accidents at rail crossings. For more information, visit the FDOT's Operation Stride website.
