16-Year-Old Singer/Songwriter Chosen To Be 2020 Dove Bearer

TARPON SPRINGS, FL — St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Tarpon Springs announced that 16-year-old Katerina Lecourezos is the 2022 Epiphany dove bearer for the 116th annual Epiphany ceremony in Tarpon Springs.

Lecourezos is an honor roll junior at Pinellas County Center for the Arts at Gibbs High School.

She has trained for voice and acting since she was 7 years old, and has been singing in the St. Nicholas Cathedral's Choir since she was 8. She is a professional actress and singer/songwriter.

Earlier this year, she wrote and recorded a powerful song, performed in a music video. "Her Tears of Silence" lyrics are from the point of view of a trafficked teen.

Additionally, Lecourezos is a published author with a second book in the works.

Most recently, she was honored to have been invited to sing the National Anthem by U.S. Rep. Gus Bilirakis, R-Tarpon Springs for veterans, Major League Baseball and the National Basketball Association.
